In response to a question asked elsewhere.........
Personally I have no problem with trading defaulted loans on the Loan Exchange.
However I would want the shelves to be empty because they had all been resolved.
I'm going 50/50 on that heading staying.

I vaguely remember though, that if you buy an already-defaulted loan, you can't then claim any capital loss (from the loan defaulting) against your taxable income - is this the case? If so, that would need to be communicated to any potential buyers.

I would guess it wouldn't be a huge issue if the status of loans was easy to see without a lot of ferreting around in the notes and detail pages (and here). Can always have an extra tick box and a picture of a Norwegian Blue before the execute button.
