Surprised this went so quickly, but interesting to me that that number of investors in individual projects is double on average what it was in early November. You'd think – as the restrictions on size of investment have been largely removed – that you'd see the opposite: fewer investors, each with a larger slice. Can't just be down to an increase in investors to the platform, as the rise is sudden, between two loans. Wonder what it is? I would hazard a guess at a lot of new investors. Without offering any opinion myself (I would be highly reluctant to advocate any P2P platform). CP is being widely offered as a good platform and people do seem to listen. Think there may be other factors in this particular one my account was in minus territory yesterday, yet I still got an allocation on autoinvest. Just building up the courage to enter the user interface minefield to see why.

Just building up the courage to enter the user interface minefield to see why. There have been over 1000 investors on the last 4 loans. Previously 600 ish. Again I put £50 as Autoinvest ceiling as I wanted to keep tabs on what happened on this one rather than seriously investing in it. Again I was Allocated 100% ie £50. So am wondering if small ceilings are given 100% and the 18% kicks in later? The same thing happened on Somerset where the thread here says it was 8% and I received 100%, being £50. On both loans there was a lot more cash available for Autoinvest than the £50. So are we talking about the same thing? 18% of "Autoinvest Maximum Pledge Size via Autoinvest" with a lot more cash being available on the account for Autoinvest ??

Click on Dashboard Standard or IFISA or Pension as appropriate My AutoInvest AutoInvest Settings Yes, 18.5% of Maximum Pledge Size for me, and the same for a friend's account that I manage. One of those had more than the maximum pledge size available to lend and the other had only 30% of Maximum Pledge Size available to lend.

Then that suggests something different happens if Max Pledge Size is set to the minimum £50, as I did - and got £50 allocated. Elsewhere on CP messages I have read that people have received less than £50 at times. Perhaps that was all they had available to lend in Autoinvest. I had taken it to mean they go the same fixed % as everyone else.

I had taken it to mean they go the same fixed % as everyone else. I think the amount that's allocated via autoinvest is fairly simple. If we take today's loan as an example (where the allocation percentage was 18.5%): Everyone participating via autoinvest that has at least £50 of autoinvest funds available gets 18.5% of their Maximum Pledge Size, subject to a minimum of £50 (the Minimum Autoinvest Pledge Size). It has been speculated that there is sometimes (possibly often) less than £500 (the Minimum Manual Pledge Size) left at the end of a loan's allocation, and that this may be allocated to 1 or more autoinvestors to complete the loan total. It's possible that this amount could be less than £50. I have a couple of autoinvest loans that were started before the Minimum Autoinvest Pledge Size of £50 was introduced. Coincidentally, they are both for £5.87.

There was a project in Glasgow a few weeks back that I have a £3 stake in. And the one after that was even smaller, though I cancelled that. Nothing similar has happened since though.

I see that there is a CP loan titled "Gainsborough" coming up for £1.6m on 4th May.
I don't suppose that is anything to do with Gainsborough House, a major asset of the Abergele project?

Seems unlikely, given that the third tranche of the funding for the project is scheduled for 14 Apr. CP normally uses the location rather than the project as the identifier AFAICS
