Yes, it's getting crazy. Auto- invest hardly worth using any more. Need to be on the spot at 10:00, but impossible to invest from more than one account as there is not enough time.

There are 4 loans per week scheduled for the rest of Jan, of which today's was the smallest. So, I'm hoping for steadily increasing allocations as the glut of available cash gets used up.

Well I didn't even bid for the Manchester loan because I'm already up to my limit for that borrower. He has other projects running. I do hope that other lenders are taking care and not becoming overexposed.

Easingwold - received just 8.7% - I agree it is difficult to become over-exposed.

14.1% in today's Solihull loan. I even managed to add to it via a manual pledge.

I believe this is a reference to the fact that in reticent loans ...
1 auto invest ££ shared out thinly over so many inverters because of the popularity. 2 Manual investing seems to be all over in seconds, again due to popularity. Not i believe a reference to the quality of the loans.

I am rapidly losing interest in Autoinvest/CP. Just got 5% of the latest loan via Autoinvest - hardly worth bothering with.

I've not missed out on any of the previous single raises or Phase 1's ( I never pledge for later phases). You normally ok for the first 30 seconds or so.

Interesting to see that for tomorrow's launch the manual limit of £5k has been reduced to £2k ("There will be a £2,000 pledge limit on this raise" in today's mailing).
What's caused the issue with receiving a very small ratio of autopledge maximum amount is the sudden spike in the number of investors. Until the "BUILDING PLOT, S**** LITTLETON, EVESHAM, WR11 *** - PHASE 3" launch there were a fairly stable number of 500 - 700 investors per launch. Then, from the "13**-13** STRATF*RD ROAD, SHIRLEY, SOLIHULL, B90 *** - PHASE 1" launch onwards, the number shot up to 1201 for that launch and has stayed above 1000 for all launches. Does anyone have an idea what could have caused the sudden spike? It seems extremely odd that the number of lenders would shoot up by a few hundred overnight, rather than gradually increase.
I'm curious to know what ratio of autopledge did other people get on the launch yesterday?
Cheers.

the spike could be caused by the fact that since the demise of MT,FS,LY etc CP is now seen as the next best thing only with better DD and management of loans.many of my first loans of up to £3/4/5 hundred k were funded within minutes by less than 100 investors. now CP have almost 13000 registered investors and anything that is presented is filled within minutes.for me the swing to mainly multi tranche development loans has led to a pause on adding more funds and will just wait now for repayments on my loans.the thrill of the 10am fff led to me going above where i wanted to be but when there was loans being filled by 30/40 lenders it felt good to get a slice. now with thousands of potential investors CP can relax and maybe the auto invest will turn out to have been a good thing in holding back some people from getting in to deep on just a few loans.CP have plenty of loans coming month after month so uninvested funds will soon get allocated only over a lot more loans so a more divisified portfolio.

I note that there's a loan scheduled at 7.2%. I think that's a record low, though there were a few previously at 7.25. I used to skip loans that were less than 8%, but have to accept some at 7.8% now to keep my funds invested.

The 7.2% loan (after 7.6% yesterday) is a probably a CrowdProperty test to see how how lenders will react and/or to set a benchmark to prepare us for other low-paying loans. rocky1 I'm not happy either with the increasing prevalence of much riskier loans for complicated property developments. I've also been easing off for that reason.

Just 2.2% of requested amount in today's loan (Swindon).
