www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwZl6YV3xYAScott Manley vid gives a possible reason why it failed and why the FAA have a few issues. Having watched that I would sell my house to space x for the maximum dollar and go. After all any money you make from sightseers could disappear in a flash.

The FAA has approved its launch license. Or gone "well, he's going to ignore what we say anyway so...".

They're going again. About an hour. shame I missed this post...........i got the impression from the previous commentary that they thought it was doing a complete defuel and therefore it was probably off for the immediate..... I've just watched the vid on the BBC, but that only goes up to landing. need to find one that also shows the post landing rapid unplanned disassembly.

What I find insane is that unless you follow these things you wouldn't know that SpaceX Falcon 9 + Merlin has, within the last couple of hours, delivered another 60 Starlink satellites to orbit (the 20th batch) to provide functioning satellite based broadband comms using a booster reused 8 times AND landed it autonomously on a drone ship to be re-used yet again. Considering where they were 5 years ago this is simply staggering and I wonder where we'll be in another 5 years with Starship + Raptor.
Peter Beck and Rocket Lab have just announced they'll fund raise to build the Neutron rocket with re-usable first stage which is set to compete with Falcon 9. What do they say, immitation is the best form of flattery or something?

Meanwhile, I've recently moved into a major city in the West Midlands and don't have enough cellphone signal to make voice calls. I guess I should be grateful to even receive the SMS I need to log into my banks etc... And when I fly in a jet airliner it travels no faster than those of the 1960s.
