All 1-year loans repaid with a large wodge of interest too. Just under 15% of my RS investment liquidated in one go. Looks like I'll be able to afford a (very) substantial meal with my booze tonight. Mind you, I'll miss the average 5.3% interest (= 2.65% currently) on those loans.

Fascinating. Where have they all gone? I got rid of my last 1Y loan a little while ago, so haven't participated in today's party. Does this mean that the 1Y market is now defunct? I still have access to it, although I don't have any holding funds to be able to try a test investment. I see around £5M on the market from lenders, though - are all these loan offers about to be cancelled, too? All good questions.
I never even thought of doing a 'test order', even though I've left a wadge remaining in my Holding Account. Tempting but will I be tempted?

Thanks cougar.
The blog says "We have written to all 1 Year market investors with more details" - but have they? My inbox is suspiciously empty...

Thanks cougar. The blog says "We have written to all 1 Year market investors with more details" - but have they? My inbox is suspiciously empty... Mine too, for the moment.
Further, as the 1yr market is not due to close until 15th January ('statutory' one month's notice?) maybe the astute amongst us now have the chance of gaining an extra month's interest? Probably wouldn't get lent out though, would be my guess!

One might imagine that those are to be paid off too, although I think the "huge" impact you hoped for in another post might be a tad optimistic.

It was up to date (as is the 5yr). they wrote property in APM too Some of the cash from the 1 year will find its way to the APM accounts, so that will have a positive impact on RYIs. Though it would be much more sensible to invest it in property lending on other platforms IMO, where much better rates can be obtained without the impending danger of an RS capital haircut.

Well it is hard to tell, however, they tried to shunt us into APM at some point or another. Given the fact 1 year was liquid already i think it will have a huge (subjective word) impact. If they moved from 19th March until e.g. 19th April that is a huge improvement. Given it took 9 months to move 5 or 6 days.
