Nearly 1 year into this and the views have swung all over. Would be interesting to see how statistically people reflect their position on the final end game

I have now recieved all my RYI amounts.
No loss of Capital and all interest paid upto date with no fees paid to RS.
I do feel they have acted honourably.
Regards, SXLR

Both myself and Mrs Aju are nearly all out. Few quid left but not really much to worry about. I'm not sure whether RS will wholly complete with an unblemished record - I do wonder if at some point the loans will be sold off - at some point there will be no inflows and the outflows will get smaller and smaller as time passes such that it must become less self sustaining and RS or their masters will call time and pay it out. That said RS may yet rise up like a phoenix in the coming years who knows!. RS is dead, long live RS

The last option is a bit outdated since quite a lot of people seem to have already got all or nearly all of their money out. A better question might be will lenders who haven't started removing their funds yet suffer significant losses.

I've got slightly over 98% of capital back without any RYI. As the queue is catching up leaps and bounds I may be tempted to RYI my remaining access holding, or at least that in my Everyday account, to take that over 100%. Either way, I won't make significant, if any, capital loss.
The question more on my mind is, if the access RYI process catches up and becomes liquid again, what's a reasonable rate of return compared with other non p2p options to consider starting to invest again?

As for the original question - as has already been said, I think the options aren't terribly helpful - a lot of people have already got all or nearly all their money out (I'm 100% out). My guess would be that an unlucky few might lose a little at the end, but nothing to write home about.

I was a long way back in the queue to get my money out of my Access funds and thought I would have to wait two years or more - but RS did wonders, found a giant pot of money and has now made massive inroads into returning investors money if they wanted to withdraw. So I've now got all my invested money back on top of thousands of pounds interest which I received in earlier years. So I'm happy, very very happy.....
But a learning point for RS or any similar organisation - never ever call a product 'Access' unless you can guarantee timely access and refund. Post-COVID my 'Access' funds were the least accessible investments I've ever had.

I feel RS have quietly dealt with the problems well and appear to have done all they can to allow investors to exit.
My position is £159 of £160 returned and historically nearly £30 in interest over the years so if I lost the final few hundred I would still feel it was a good investment overall.
If they could have had a 'westonkev' type conversing with investors at the same time it would have been better and certainly more fun.

We’re 99% out. £14k in interest over the years. Really sad to see it end this way. Even the kids got their £1,000 back out along with their £100 bonuses (invested in 2019).
I wish everybody at RateSetter the very best. I feel lucky to have been part of what should have been a wonderful story.
I was with ZOPA before RateSetter. Glad I moved.
