Hi
I am looking at p2p like Kuflink and Unbolted
Unbolted appeals to me because of the current times, however reading about the court case and other posts on the forum concern me Walk away?
Also, is the 12% advertised on site realistic? What are you getting as real interest?

Arguably the biggest risk to your capital is platform failure (just have a read of the P2x sites closed to new retail investors section of the forum), and not just the conventional risks of assets, borrowers, provision funds etc. Therefore, you have to weigh up the returns offered (the up to 12%) against the underlying platform risk + any additional risk you assess the current court case to add to the platform viability. There are no easy answers.

I'm being forced to withdraw cash due to the lack of loans. More repayments than investments.

Also, is the 12% advertised on site realistic? What are you getting as real interest? Hi wizard1, I replied to your kuflink questions on MSE. I'm very happy with my Unbolted accounts. I'm averaging around 9% annual return in each of the 3 accounts that I manage. As others have said, the biggest problem with Unbolted is getting one's funds deployed. I'm managing to keep a low 5 figure sum nearly constantly deployed across my 2 accounts and am trying to increase this, but I only add a small amount of cash when free funds are low. I'm not concerned by the court case. I believe that it is being brought by a vexatious litigant that will eventually lose his case, but I'm definitely no expert. No, I don't believe that a 12% return is achievable in practice. There simply aren't sufficient loans of the type that would pay this higher rate to be able to deploy one's cash into.

Diversification of platforms, when you invest in p2p, is as important as diversification of shares/holdings in any market portfolio. All your eggs in one basket is very risky.
