What does Q14 mean: Was investment into any of the failed companies above your first-time financial investment outside (checking or savings) bank accounts?

What does Q14 mean: Was investment into any of the failed companies above your first-time financial investment outside (checking or savings) bank accounts? It's just asking if it was your first investment. I.e. the first time you've moved from saving to investing. I.e. the first time you put money where it wasn't FSCS protected. "Checking" being an Americanism for "chequing".
