Sorry if been covered before. The note to say ALL FUTURE loans will be funded by Metro Bank SO does than mean we can no longer invest?
What are the risks if you continue to invest?

What are the risks if you continue to invest? if you invest you will remain on market unless you undercut. You have pretty much missed this boat. the risk is you lose everything. you can add funds, however, there is a lot of money on market. It would be a bit like getting on a sinking ship whilst the life boats were being loaded - you do not know how much will be saved or lost but if you can leave and safely - i would do so. Yes the ratio is above 100% - that is only for today mind. the likelihood of funds matched is tiny

All new/re investment will be into the existing loanbook, which has been in run-off since the MB takeover. (the secured loans having been discontinued or sold off, i.e. property portfolio to Shawbrook)

This page gives you an idea about the type of new loans in a three month period, but hasn't been updated since November. www.ratesetter.com/invest/investing-with-us/lending-criteriaIn 2020 there was 345m of additional lending. You can see that here on the Lending Volume graph. www.ratesetter.com/invest/statisticsAs others have said I doubt there is much additional lending if any now, it may have dropped to zero already. There may be the odd commitment to current borrowers for example. |

In answer to bold: Being left holding the hot potato, if the PF doesn't cover everything.
