It was listed and I have received the e-mail at 13:18 today. It's now showing in Live, but none of my instruction is invested yet. I'm sure there will be a MLA portion distributed soon. I've been checking on this loan several times a day for some time. Since others report it listed on Upcoming this morning I guess I must have dozed off, but I still have no email (18.40, spam folders checked). If I didn't check regularly I still wouldn't know. However, I do not appear to have been disadvantaged.

If you go to your name (top right), select "profile and settings", scroll down to "communication preferences" and select "Be informed of new loans on the platform and get updates from us" you should get the emails. If you have this already set up and still don't get emails your best bet is to contact AC.

I didn't get the email either (and not in spam folder), not that I would have invested anyway. Got my e mail 13.19. For those who missed 1493 in the Upcoming Loans yesterday, there's still £194k available this morning. From my AA investments, it looks like they also got a useful allocation from this loan.

What I don't understand about AC is that every time a new loan is issued they give me an allocation to access accounts. I don't have any uninvested cash because surplus funds were returned to cash which I withdrew. So where does this money come from.

Out of interest, ilmoro, how do you see the AA queue? Thanks

What I don't understand about AC is that every time a new loan is issued they give me an allocation to access accounts. I don't have any uninvested cash because surplus funds were returned to cash which I withdrew. So where does this money come from. The AA accounts invest in all loans on the platform (excluding a few old defaults that were not tradeable when the accounts launched) so when you in invest in the AA you receive a holding in all the loans the AA holds prorata to the % of total AA funds your investment represents. So if the AA is £100m & you invest £1m you will get 1% of the AA's holding in each loan. So loan #1 AA has invested £300, so you will hold £3 in that loan. Each time funds are added or withdrawn by any lender the holdings of all lenders will change to reflect that as the % of the AA total each lenders funds represent changes. The AA also holds a portion of funds in cash to provide liquidity and to enable it to fund new loans as an underwriter. All lenders will hold a prorata share of that cash. When a new loan or a new tranche launches the AA will use the cash to invest in the loan so all lenders will get a prorata share of the loan. If a loan repays in part or full or the AA sells some on the SM to MLA lenders then the cash held will increase. So in essence the money comes from the funds you have already invested in the AA. There is a difference between cash within the AA, which is merely your share of the AA liquidity cash, it isnt in loans but is earning interest as invested in the AA , and uninvested cash outside the AA which is waiting for the AA to need additional liquidity and isnt earning interest. The problem at the moment is that the AA have too much free cash so arent accepting much or any additional investment as they would be unable to invest in enough loans to pay the specified interest rate & fund the PF. Remember any free cash in the AA doesnt earn a return for the AA but it still has to pay interest to lenders on the sum.

Out of interest, ilmoro , how do you see the AA queue? Thanks It depends on whether you have funds invested in the AA. If you havent then you wont get a holding. You cant. Im just going on the fact that my funds sat in the queue havent changed. Because AC kicked a large amount of free cash out of the AA several months ago and put in the queue there is technically a huge pool of money all waiting to enter the AA at the same place in the queue (dont know for certain as AC have failed to be transparent on the queue despite promises) A sign that the AA are getting back to normal operations will be when it starts to eat into the funds in the 'cash berg' because until that is cleared (or everyone pulls there money from the queue) there is little prospect of money being invested in the AA quickly. It may well be the case that funds ahead of the 'cash berg' are being invested into the AA but they are likely to be trivial amounts compared to whats behind them.

In previous recent loans AC has released in the order of 6 to 8% to the mlia according to posts, but in this case 20% ish. Any theories why AC did not want a larger share in the access accounts in this case. Plenty of cash available awaiting investment there, getting nervous they know more than me, just joking.

I bought a few of these at the launch on Friday, just noticed the Interest Accrued on this loan is still showing zero. I had thought that the interest accrued was updated daily on each loan?

Always seems to take AC a few days to actually get everything right. The accrual is zero because they havent set up the repayment dates. The borrower rate is missing as well and the term. You would hope that care would be taken to make sure things were right, especially as some of them touch on regulatory requirements, but they will get round to it. Seems more an example of sloppiness or technical glitch than anything significant. Fairly typical of AC.

Another loan gone live without an email (for me at least). Can anyone confirm whether there has been an allocation to the MLA?
