AC Really needs to put this on their Welcome page: ( "Earn Up to 5%*" ) Another couple of 5% loans in which I will make minimal investment thus continuing my withdrawal of funds. At 5% with ACs record of "mishaps" it is really not worth bothering.

Entirely hypothetical for me in that by the time the relevant AC notification reaches my E-mail address, even though I log in immediately, the loans are already fully subscribed. Is this the same experience for most others?

Is this the same experience for most others? The loans are bought by AA's first and then part of the loan is distributed to MLA investors. These two loans are still sitting in "upcoming". If you check your e-mails several times a day there's normally enough time to invest after e-mail is sent.

That's interesting. I've put in for £50 in the MLA (£25 plus £25) received none but got £77 allocated on Access. C'mon Assetz, unwind some to the MLA goys

You may've already seen it, but according to the loan's Ledger they're looking at 50k drawdown in about a month and about 130k in another month later. I'm guessing this must relate to more units for MLA and the AA's. - Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, perhaps the whole loan's been drawn but held with AC.

Its a development loan so there are scheduled regular monthly drawdowns up to the facility limit. The loan hasnt drawn in full so they will be fresh advances funded by the AA. The AA will likely continue to release holdings as required to manage the account. Both loans released funds to MLA just after 6, with a further small amount for #1550 about 10mins later

A whale has surfaced in the upcoming list (with a smaller calf) which on paper (and assuming no sudden repayments) should take out nearly 50% of the AA free cash - difficult to see how there cant be movement in the queue soon. 5% so seems unlikely MLA uptake will make major dent.

New loan at 6.5% announced last night. [I've bid for 2 times £20] Are things starting to 'look up'?
Incidentally, you can look at the existing portfolio and you get a crude picture of what the MLA is paying at
325 loans ... 42 (12.5%) at 0%
0% 42 5% 62 6% 135 7% 43 8% 18 9% 16
5.4% [average]
And that is either 'going down'.. 'going sideways'.. or 'going up' (depending on how you look at things)

1564, due to draw down anytime, LTV advertised at 42.xx%, actual LTV is around 187.5%.... for 5%.
The sooner people wake up and stop buying into this, the sooner there is a chance of seeing some more realistic returns.

Because £537k of the security is by way of personal guarantee, and we all know how much they are worth in reality. The actual security is only worth 400k, plus £537k of personal guarantees, loan is for £750k.

I think AC always takes a PG but don't normally rely just on that, it's normally backed or supported by a charge, but I don't see how they get their headline LtV in this case. So I'm double-checking this now
