If one makes a bid using Self-Select does they receive an email if unsuccessful? I just want to double check I am doing things correctly. An email is meant to be sent for unsuccessful bids. I was unsuccessful with yesterday's launch and received no email.

Likewise no email. It seems to be hit and miss.

They definitely have a problem with their email server or software and they don't know how to fix it, I was successful in getting an allocation and didn't get an email. Most people don't understand how email works so the platform assume every missing email is in a person's spam or email folder or even filtered to another folder from their inbox. It's a toss up between their software and one of the mail servers. I've had problems with crowdproperty so it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of p2p platforms are using a common email service provider.

You have hit the nail on the head, its the external email provider they use. I got an email yesterday telling me about the self select option BUT this is the email blocked which would have told me I got a prior allocation. A lot of the P2P networks seem to use sendgrid.com/ and assume they send hundreds of emails at a time and sometimes spamcop seems to block them. Had issues with Assetz Exchange, CapitalRise who also use "sendgrid" JunkMail rejected - as.d.mailin.fr [185.41.28.19]:50095 is in an RBL: Blocked - see www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?185.41.28.19

It's crappy software but it must be related to the fact there is a burst of say 2000 almost identical emails, pretty similar to spoof emails ! Still poor as all they have to do is let through all emails from the proplend.com domain.

Hi all.
If you have £1000 in your account and set the autolend to 20% what would happen? My guess would be nothing as the minimum of £1000 wouldn't be reached. Or would it invest £200 in 5 loans?

Today I have set Auto Lend to 'Always On'
As it has been set after the current 'In Funding' loan has been started, do I assume my funds will not go into it.
I am not worried about waiting a month if I change it to 'Self Select'

According to this post: p2pindependentforum.com/post/463613/thread, allocation for always-on took place on 10th Nov. So, I would think that hubert should assume that his funds won't be allocated to this loan. Still time to go for a self-select allocation, but I don't think that's possible on a Tranche A only loan without turning always-on off. Probably best to check with Proplend, as the machinations of auto-lend are not well explained IMO. Note that always-on and self-select are both considered to be versions of auto-lend. I expect that they would be able to give you an allocation given the size of the loan. Alternatively, given the loan size, it might be possible to make a manual pledge after the self-select algorithm runs tomorrow.

The funds were actually allocated this afternoon, so at least the situation is no longer to be considered an anomaly.

Going by an email received there is still loan availability. I was under the impression Auto lenders have access throughout the funding but given priority access for a certain period before self selectors.

Brian mentioned on tonight's Financial Thing broadcast ( link) that there's an update to autolend coming next week. Let the speculation begin...
