Thank you for all your helpful replies. I invested this morning, and phoned them direct with a few more questions. They were very helpful and said I should be fully invested within about 6 weeks. Will be interesting to see if that is true. PS: I seem to have picked up £1K of a loan this morning, but can't see what one it is. It just says 'waiting to close'. 6 weeks equals 42 days. March 30th to today equals 39 days plus upcoming Sunday and Monday equals 41 days. Did you hit your target of being fully invested? No, I am only about 50% invested so far. I have 2 x £1000 active loans (one through the 'Auto-lend' and one I bought on the exchange) and 2 x £4000 plus 1 x £1000 loans waiting to close (all through 'Auto-lend).

"one I bought on the exchange"
Was via AutoInvest or manually?
Someone commented recently that loans on the loan exchange sold in seconds...

Someone commented recently that loans on the loan exchange sold in seconds... i assume he bought it as i think autoinvest gives no real choice with secondary loans. Hopefully they will confirm this. Yeah secondary loans are going in seconds to minutes depending on the quality. I picked up one last Friday there were 2 on screen and both gone in 20 seconds.

Autoinvest runs at least once a day, not just for new loans, and it will purchase exchange loans if that option is enabled.
The purchase failure error is due to someone else manually buying the loan just ahead of you, the conflict software seems fairly simple and that's why it takes about a minute to produce an error message.
People are monitoring the exchange using browser add-ons so that's why they disappear surprisingly quickly but we made a pact never to mention it. I've just gone and done it now, ah.

Where do I find out about how to use these add-ons?

I only use one browser, Firefox. You are looking for something along the lines of the description below in the extensions or add-ons settings of your browser. These extensions are not virus checked like Google Play apps (even those apps can't be trusted due to vulnerabilities and extra code) so you have to be aware of that. Only a few extensions are certified by Mozilla for Firefox. I normally use them in private browser windows to give an added layer of privacy from your other tabs.
