Another cock-up on today's loan. Autoinvest pledges are being reduced by a third. Presumably they over-allocated. The loan is showing as having 3620 investors, which seems unlikely, and is probably indicative of the problem. it stalled at 85% and 92% full for a few minuits, at the10;10am time, then filled about 10;13 am ish Now corrected to 1874 investors.

There were only 1423 lenders in today's second loan. That's the lowest number for a very long time, and the percentage of maximum autoinvest pledge sizes seem to be higher than usual at 18% and 6% today. Could be a sign that the massive wall of cash waiting to get deployed on CP is reducing.

Has the wall been depleted into cp loans, or has it wondered off to other pastures?? and if so why?

I was asked (and I assume everyone else was to) to resit the investor test to make sure that you are capable of answering the basic questions that somehow shows you are intelligent enough to invest. However, I only found out about this by logging on to the site. There maybe lots of investors who have set up autoinvest and have not logged on in the last week and have therefore had autoinvest blocked. And now for the embarassing bit, I managed to fail the test not only once but twice (that will teach me for saying a trained monkey could pass). I assumed I had misread something but when I called to have it reset they pointed out that two of the questions require two answers. When I resat the test it was very clear which they were. I am back in now but that may account for some other investors being absent (at least I really hope it was not just me).

I don't recall being asked to resit the test recently, but I might be out of sync with the majority as I stopped lending for a bit last year.

I have around 20% uninvested on the platform so I doubt there's a shortage of funds. Only using auto-invest atm.
I did have to do the test again but possibly because of self certification on the new Capital site.

You're not alone - I made precisely the same mistake - I puzzled for ages over those multi-option questions, thinking two choices were both correct and trying combinations of both resulting in about four failed tests. On about the fifth attempt, I noticed that multiple correct options were required - so much for my assumption that I'm a "sophisticated investor"!

It seems that both today's offerings are auto invest only despite the first having a note limiting bids to £500

Could be a sign that the massive wall of cash waiting to get deployed on CP is reducing. Another factor could be that the first loan took 18% of Max. So there might not have been enough left "available' for the second autoinvest - I think there has to be 50?

Still £13k available on one of today's loans, but only 6.9% to lenders. I suspect that there was some odd behaviour by the Autoinvest system because for both yesterday's loans, rather than my usual Autoinvest pledge of £50 per loan, it was scaled back to only £25 per loan - and then there's this substantial shortfall for one of the loans shortly afterwards. Perhaps, only the second of yesterday's loans (the small £160k loan) was supposed to have Autoinvest pledges limited to £25, but the limit was applied to both, including the £735k loan resulting in a large shortfall? When I checked an hour or so after the loans went live yesterday, I was surprised to see such a large shortfall - I think it was only 88% filled at that stage. Anyway, it's now filled (24 hours later).
