Has anyone else has an issue where they purchased a loan on the SM, cash balance reduced, but the holding on ABL loan balance does not increase to reflect the new purchase?
I'll give ABL a shout later, but just wondering if it is common?

Have you checked that the purchase actually went through - ie it shows up as a trade in ASMX? I have had instances in the past where I thought I had purchased by matching the offer, but the offer disappeared before I submitted a matching bid which left me confused when my loan balance hadn't increased whilst cash was down (my bid remained on the SM, hence the reduction in cash), so worth double checking that your bid was actually matched and isn't left on the SM.

Just noticed, the balance of my holding of the loan on ASMX is correct, so it seems to not have updated ABL after the trade, I'll have to keep more of an eye on that in future!

I've had this a few times - it can take a while for the old Platform system to catch up with ASMX - normally there within 30mins from memory (although most trades I've done were pretty instant)

It sometimes takes a few minutes for balance to be updated on the Ablrate site. I wish they would fix the "Total funds in this account" balance. It's still out by up to £1. Rather embarrassing really.

There are occasional 'glitches'. It also looks a little like the much needed improvements are not happening anytime soon.
I sometimes wonder if they are being distracted by making occasional updates on the platform and are not giving the laser like focus we had come to expect.

Just updated 14 hours later, thanks overseer! On your Dashboard Loan Exchange box top right corner it tells you the last time checked. Click on the green arrows and it updates.

Just updated 14 hours later, thanks overseer! The system does queue trade reports on Ablrate so sometimes it can take time to update. There is also an automatic reconciliation at midnight and if anything is found it is fixed there and then or listedon our admin page in a warning so we can investigate and fix. It doesn't happen often. As long as you check that the trade went through on ASMX your Ablrate account will be updated.
