Another one of those old-age things that are on the increase now that people aren't dying of other things first. Add in better/earlier diagnosis...
How many old people used to be "a bit shaky"?

adrianc, too true and given we are living longer these conditions perhaps always affected say 30% of people of an age but now far more people live to that age we have more older people so see more cases.

Sadly,only of relevance to us oldies. Most of media is obsessed with gathering youth and the rest is just nostalgia (which is equal only to racism and queer bashing in current mindset).

Alot of modern day medical problems are linked to over consumption of carbs, especially sugar.
If people would just cut out the sugar (& hidden) in their diet it would help greatly.
I have been on keto/low carbs for two months & my blood pressure has come down 10-20% to normal.
My inflammation has been reducing over that time. A condition which I have to take daily medicine for.

If people would just cut out the sugar (& hidden) in their diet it would help greatly.
I have been on keto/low carbs for two months & my blood pressure has come down 10-20% to normal.
My inflammation has been reducing over that time. A condition which I have to take daily medicine for.
My wifes been on the keto diet also(therfore so am I!)its certainly a lot healthier and tasty food. All that cream! She feels much better. I also have cut out eating bread as I was suffering from heartburn a lot , educating the masses regarding diet and budgeting should be mainstream in schools...anyway , I digress.

...and little or no exercise: cars and easy transport and too much screen time.

I found just reducing drinking coffee and drinking more tea instead reduced my blood pressure.
