....... This leads me to ask a few questions; - What AutoInvest allocations did other forum members get this morning?
- Does anyone have a strategy for targeting the first project when two are launched on the same day?
- Why might I have been overlooked for the first project?
Reduce the funds in the AutoInvest wallet to no more than than your expected AutoInvest pledge amount, so that there would be enough to pledge for the first loan but not enough for the second loan. For example, if your normal AutoInvest pledge is £50, then leave between £50 and £100 in the AutoInvest wallet.

Thanks Ace, eeyore and dave2, for your replies. I'm beginning to think that I accidentally had the Skip next project feature activated after all. I seem to recall a project scheduled for earlier in the week, which I wanted to skip but that didn't go ahead.

CP seem to have upped the rates to investors on many of its upcoming loans. Quite a few at 8.5%.

I think they've woken up to the fact that their excessive margins can't continue when even many bank's interest rates quadrupled last year. This morning they had three loans that had not filled. All interesting rates for existing and forthcoming loans were well below the previous 8%. The situation was getting worse and worse for them, with more and more investors not taking an interest. So they've been forced to make their rates fairer. Other platforms like SoMo increased their rates months ago. Hats off to CP for being responsive. My main concern in terms of CP is the increasing ratio of loans that are significantly overdue. Thoughts on that?

And that's on an account that's nearly fully deployed and has never had any withdrawals, apart from some transfers to CPC.

I'm new to CP and have only had two loans due, and both are now late. I've stopped investing until I get more confidence in them. I've read recently that overdue loans is becoming quite a trend. I'm going to take my cash out as and when (if?) it comes in for now.

I'm in the same situation, although still many of my loans aren't old enough to be past due. My plan is to attempt to take a third of my investment out as cash as the loans pay out over the Tax Year 2023-24. It is an ISA. If I can meet or exceed that by March 2024, I'll pour it all back in under the flexible ISA rules and reinvest. If I can't take a third off by that date due to loans being late, what I've withdrawn will stay out, or I'll put it back in only with intent to transfer it out shortly afterwards, as opposed to investing it. Time will tell which one it will be.

What do you intend to do with the third that you take out as cash, are you sure that flexible ISA rules apply?

What does this mean? An allusion to trouble at mill? I couldn't even figure out the properties, good job!
