One useful thing to know is that transfers directly from the QAA to the 30DAA/90DAA bypass the queue. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't suppose there's any way to similarly transfer standard to ISA? We seem to have to withdraw to cash then (not) re-invest it

ISA rules forbid in-specie transfers into the tax wrapper; always need a sell, cash contribution and repurchase.

I'm probably missing something but can anyone point me to how I can bulk cancel queued QAA investment instructions, other than one at a time? I have over 800 instructions being interest from other accounts having been directed there. I have now changed instructions to redirect interest to the cash account, which I should have done a couple of months ago...

Click 'Active Instructions' and then use the 'Cancel Invest Instructions' button.

Click 'Active Instructions' and then use the 'Cancel Invest Instructions' button. Thanks iano, that's what I've done now. At one point I thought it would be handy to be able to select maybe a page at a time to cancel but as it's still the case that nothing is moving, cancelling all investment instructions turns out to be the best course of action for me. Sorry for delay in acknowledging your post.

This Assetz FAQ might be slightly out-of-date...
How long will it take to invest using the Access Account Marketplace?
Like any marketplace, the trading of Access Account loan holdings depends on the demand and supply available. If you wish to invest at par value, you will be able to do this instantly.

I'm giving AC some latitude on this as it does say in a yellow highlighted box just above the AA part of the page, when logged in,
The link above goes to the stuff about "automatic-operating-level"
and if you try to invest or queue some money there's another warning box saying similar stuff - but I'm a little used to ignoring messages like this, so I need to be careful. I think AC's position is that the queueing should be temporary, perhaps 9years out of 10 are normal or something like that. But I don't speak for them.

So. Is there any black box account other than loanpad where I can invest in p2p? easyMoney? Also ElfinMarket. CrowdProperty, Unbolted and Proplend all have autoinvest features that you could essentially use as a black box if you wish. Kuflink's term accounts could also be considered black box. Actually, other than ElfinMarket and Kuflink, all those mentioned are white box really as you can see what you're invested in.

It doesn't show for me as I have no active instructions, but I imagine it would be in the "My Access Account Marketplace Instructions" pane on the "Accounts" page.

That's correct, it's on the Accounts Dashboard and at the bottom of the 'My Access Account Marketplace Instructions' panel (alongside the 'Past Instructions' button). As Ace says this is probably not present if you don't have any active instructions.
