How on earth are you going to prove these intents . Just another piece of fantasy to clog up the courts . Now this is the law of the jungle ....... The wording does seem laughable...Define 'closely'. How do you know if they're walking home or not? What time does night begin? I'm a slow cyclist uphill at the best of times. I don't want to become a criminal, so I just hope I never pass someone "making a journey" (whatever that means). Any defence lawyer will drive a coach and horses through this lot.

A new startup granted with FCA blessing and 40 mil seed money appeared on the news of P2P in less than 3 years. This ethical entity has already got B Corp sticker but I can’t see why it has anything to do with p2p lending, it does not accept p2p lenders. You've lost me but peer to peer isn't a phrase exclusive to lending .it can mean any decentralised activity where people connect directly via a facilitator.

Didn't see the temporary 40mph speed limit signs on the motorway (so I assume should have been done for driving without due care and attention as well)

Laugh or cry, all the same depending on your point of view. Still at least we don't need to listen to experts anymore.
The UK economy is 4% is smaller than if the country had remained in the EU, the chair of the Office for Budget Responsibility said.
Richard Hughes said the effect of Brexit on the economy is on the "magnitude" of the coronavirus pandemic and rising energy prices, and the country is seeing the "biggest squeeze on living standards" on record.
He told the BBC's Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg programme: "But we do expect, as we get past this year and we go into the next three or four years, that real income starts to recover.
"But it's still the case that people's real spending power doesn't get back to the level it was before the pandemic even after five years, even by the time we get to the late 2020s."
Hughes said this is "partly" because the UK's growth has been held back by supply constraints on "key drivers" of growth.
He spoke of the country losing 500,000 workers, combined with "stagnant investment" since 2016 and slowing productivity.
Asked how much stronger the economy would be if the UK had remained in the EU, he said: "We think that, in the long run, [Brexit] reduces our overall output by around 4% compared to had we remained in the EU.
"I've struggled to put it in any kind of sensible context.
"It's a shock to the UK economy of the order of magnitude to other shocks that we've seen from the pandemic, from the energy crisis."

If they had discussions via email the seller may have given details and if pick up is an option they will often give an address. Seems totally unfair, the seller can legally cancel if the auction isn't finished, which seems to be the case here (8 days before the auction end). If he realised his description of the item was wrong that would be a very good reason to abort the auction. I've often seen sales where the seller refuses to send the item because it didn't make as much as he expected at the end of the auction, sellers should get done for this as they should put a reserve or start the auction from their minimum if they are not willing to sell for less.

Elon Musk has reportedly signalled to Twitter workers that the firm is worth less than half the $44bn (£36bn) he paid for it last year. (no sh*t sherlock).
But don't worry, he can see a clear, but difficult, path to a >$250B valuation.

I've often seen sales where the seller refuses to send the item because it didn't make as much as he expected at the end of the auction, sellers should get done for this as they should put a reserve or start the auction from their minimum if they are not willing to sell for less. happened to me twice this year win item, pay, then "sorry mate was wrapping it to post and I dropped it", i respond "well accidents happen", a few days later same seller "relists" the item, so I bid again, and this time win it for less. and get exactly the same message. when he relisted for a 3rd time I complained to eBay CS, the response wasn't encouraging, so I bid with my selling account and won, and again the same message. So now I ring CS , and within 24 hours the account was suspended. Sellers need to realise that buyers spend time researching stuff and it's wasted if they do this. We don't know the full details of the case, but obviously German contract law decided there was a contract and that the buyer was entitled to compensation. From a personal viewpoint I say good, too many buyers and sellers rely on eBay "rules" rather than the law. I had a situation a couple of years ago where about 20% of my sales were to Italy, it was a nightmare, they would demand extras for free, they would buy an item I sold as damaged and non functional, then demand a refund when it arrived and wasn't perfectly functional, and a good 50% just didn't pay, it was as if it was a game to them. in the end I had to put a blanket ban on Italian buyers.
