even if only a “small” amount is set aside.

The wife of the newly elected leader whom working in the NHS can travel with the husband to world summit. I wonder if she knew about the trip in advance and booked the leave in advance like any other NHS staff or just tell the NHS find someone to cover her post without notice.

Bearing in mind the ‘exceptional circumstances’ of her marital situation, I would hope that any employer would make allowances, for the benefit of the nation, to assist any spouse to deal with such a situation regardless of their political leanings.

Probably booked time of as she expected to be moving house and had about 6 weeks notice of doing so

This is almost laughable and thank goodness we're not paying these over-paid clowns in the Commission anymore. Its ok for the "free press" (i.e. 20 bilionaires and their dogs) to have pages upon pages screaming which way to vote in an election but run a website that allows folk to talk to each other and you're gonna get fined big time for the use of a blue tick next to some user's profiles. Why don't they fine this forum for the undemocratic use of some icon or other. Oh I know why, its because it doesn't have any money and doesn't clash with the liberal politics of the Commission. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cw0y1ezpv5xo

On X I can potentially register as Kier Starmer, provide a phone no and some cash and get a blue tick which to most people means I am the real PM of the UK. The 'free' press and their ownership is public domain, and readers can draw their own conclusions from that should they choose to ... the actual owner of the Kier Starmer blue tick would not be (NB The current real Kier Starmer doesnt have a blue tick, it has grey one as a verified govt entity as does the 10Downingst account & EU)

Blue ticks don't exist on this website but I can assure you I am Keir Starmer and I am quite sure the EU will do what is right and investigate this loophole.

Kevin Craig got blue. 😅

The blue tick means the account is verified, which implies it is trustworthy, but actually means someone paid X some money. I don't use X, but I do see the possible confusion.
