Nadhim Zahawi says the PM won handsomely Ha yes I just saw that, didn't he do an interview last week saying what an honour it would to pm one day? Backtracking big time now...at least he had the grace to blush as he said it.
I don't know who that is but does he expect British people to take him seriously as politician after a comment like that, what an arse licker. Not sure if that comment above means he came out and said he wanted to be PM , delusional arse licker.

Nadhim Zahawi says the PM won handsomely and Nadine Dorries said: I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here !
I think there has been Ukrainian interference in this (de) election !

He's the Education Secretary, the guy who was hounded out of Warwick University last week for daring to define women as adult human females. Evidently a vexed question the Labour party has great difficulty answering.

I don't follow politics closely but it's obvious the qualification bar to be a minister is so low now compared to 30 or 40 years ago. A culture secretary who knows FO about Channel 4 and a deputy prime minister who says the police don't investigate crimes that took place in the past (most hilarious thing I've heard in a long time). No wonder Boris won the confidence vote.

Unfortunately I think Boris is the conservative parties only asset, at least he is memorable, the rest are just grey men and women. And the labour party is just as bad, not a character that stands out between the lot of them. Or have I missed a shining star somewhere?

my moment of joy this morning
Texas allows open carry in the University of Texas
So students are openly carrying dildos
Some people are offended :-)

Thoughts on widespread social media suggestion that during last night's post-ballot interview Johnson('s nose) was in fact as white as snow?
As someone whose previously admitted to taking it and less than 6 months since reports of it being found in the lavatory closest to his office, I would have expected him to rein in the sniffy Duracell bunny impression a bit.
Kier Starmer was awful too...zero charisma whatsoever...just watching him speak makes me feel exciting 😂
Rory Stewart needs to come back and sort out the mess ASAP.

I'll let those who are more expert on such matters than I decide for themselves... www.theguardian.com/politics/video/2022/jun/06/boris-johnson-no-confidence-vote-result-convincing-and-decisive-videoHe's not a bad actor - whether "enhanced" or not - but his eyes aren't lying, aren't they? They definitely aren't matching the words... He isn't actually technically wrong when he says... "I've got a far bigger mandate from my own parliamentary colleagues, for instance, than I had in 2019"BUT... That was a three-way vote, Johnson 51.1%, Hunt 24.6%, Gove 24.0% This is a two-way. Johnson 58.8%, "Gawd, no, anybody but" 41.2%. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Conservative_Party_leadership_election#MPs'_vote Not the most ringing endorsement. Certainly not what I'd call "convincing and decisive" to know for a fact that more than 2 in 5 of your colleagues think you're a total liability.

Remember the quote, 'The enemy are not those on the opposite benches (they are just the opposition) the enemy are behind you', as a warning to a Prime Minister, might have been in 'Yes Prime Minister' but Humphrey was rarely wrong.
