I voted about a week ago by post.
No way I would vote LibDem as they are really pi**ing me off with the amount of they are stuffing through the letterbox.
- yesterday it was a leaflet saying don't forget to vote LibDem tomorrow.
- got up for breakfast this morning and there was another leaflet on the door mat saying don't forget to vote LibDem today
I'm glad it's all over.
received any leaflets advertising the services of Dominators ? I've had all sorts of cr*p over the last couple of weeks.
Looking though the results I see bottom of the list with 146 votes was Anti-lockdown, anti-EU, anti-Islam: Meet For Britain Movement by-election candidate Frankie Rufolo

Interesting to listen to the one sided view of life as put forward by MP's this morning:
- LibDem MP crowing about the result in Tiverton while ignoring the fact they lost their deposit in Wakefield
- Labour MP crowing about the result in Wakefield while ignoring the fact they lost their deposit in Tiverton
I found these details from the 2017 general election interesting; LibDems lost their deposit in 60% of the seats they contested (considerably better than the Greens who lost 90% of their deposits).

Health and Safety still way down the list in China or the flying car's first flight test failed.

Remind me again what would be so bad about a L-LD electoral pact? I have precisely zero issue with tactical voting. Remember, your vote counts for one thing only - to select which of those named individuals is your MP. If you like A, broadly like B, and dislike C... and B has a far better chance of defeating C, why would you rigidly focus on A just because of the colour of their ribbon?

She's an idiot, lacking basic numeracy skills, yet still they vote for her. I couldn't think of a better example of voting by colour. They do it all the time in the South Wales valleys too.

Would you class the pact following the 2010 election as a sucess for the LibDems?
- Last election before the pact 57 MP's
- First election after the pact 8 MP's
I don't have a problem with tactical voting, but I can't see the LibDems propping up a Labour government any time soon.

I don't have a problem with tactical voting, but I can't see the LibDems propping up a Labour government any time soon. Yes, I do. I think that the political landscape since 2015 has demonstrated just how well they stopped the Tories revealing their true colours, despite being outnumbered 6:1. Brown's utter mismanagement of the economy immediately before, during and after the crash meant that the 2010 result was absolutely the right one for the country, and I think the coalition was one of the better governments of recent years - but it was always going to be a poison chalice, precisely because of the strictures needed to get the economy back on track after 2008. Of course, it depends whether you think the main purpose of gaining political power is to help improve the country, or help improve your own chances of keeping that power for as long as possible... And, yes, I think an L-LD pact would be the right answer come the next election, too. And probably another poison chalice. Cleaning up messes always is.

The Prince of Wales accepted a suitcase containing a million euros in cash from a former Qatari prime minister, the Sunday Times has reported. The paper says this was one of three cash donations from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim totalling three million euros.

How do you pay that amount of cash into a bank? I'm asked questions for amounts £2,000+. Did Charles pay £200-£300 in each day at different branches?

Well I'm sure that despite being almost completely being wiped off the face of British politics, Clegg, Cable et al will take great solace and consolation from the fact that you thought they did a great job.

44 tips to be tight in a good way (their words not mine)
Some funny, some spine tingling, some just creepy.
