A total loss. Why ever did I invest in a mezzanine loan? Must have been asleep at the wheel.

Me too. When I read the email I thought I was safe as I would never invest in a mezzanine loan. Oops!
And no tax relief as it was part of an ISA (presumably?)

Yes in an ISA which was another mistake given their high ISA charges. When I make a withdrawal a large chunk disappears. I'm not sure exactly how the 0.95% fee works, is it annual, and have they been charging for this loan, meaning it will be even more than a 100% loss?

Not sure there would be tax relief even if held outside an ISA (like me). Looks to me that DDS's do not receive tax relief on a loss, unless they were purchased before 2003. They used to, but the rules changed around 2015.

How’s everyone finding communication with them….I’m in Millside Waterfront Res….and i have to say its been quite poor ..loan is over a year past maturity..various excuses….last update in July which promised ‘’further details shortly’’ …needless to say nothings materialised and they haven’t responded to my last email.

How’s everyone finding communication with them….I’m in Millside Waterfront Res….and i have to say its been quite poor ..loan is over a year past maturity..various excuses….last update in July which promised ‘’further details shortly’’ …needless to say nothings materialised and they haven’t responded to my last email. They seem to have lost all interest in their remaining portfolio since they stopped doing new business. This is shaping up to be my worst performing platform, worse for me that L, C, FS or MT.

A number I had on most correspondence was 0207 183 6909 - is that the one that was 'defunct' for you?
If so, there's a number listed for both 'Property Crowd' (trading name) and 'Global Alternatives Operations Limited' (incorporated name) on the FCA register: 0207 495 4800 (and also listed on Global's website).

Thanks for replies….I’ll check those numbers ….I did get a reply to an email late Friday….apparently they’ve had some info from the lead lender and will update the site from there….if it’s not satisfactory I’ll contact that lender direct…just not prepared to sit on my **** and do nothing. fortunately I just dipped my toe in on one loan with PC
