CrowdProperty Representative , another 3 months have passed and still this platform error persists. My portfolio balance has shown a reduced value over the weekend. Please can you put some effort into ensuring that the display of lender's platform totals are correct. Same is true for my account, I seem to be around £1K light on my IFISA balance. I rang CP and got a woolly explanation of it being due to repayments being made and suggesting I look at the transaction history. That didn't stand up as an explanation as my balance was correct Friday, wrong today and there were no transactions listed between then and now. CP rep couldn't/wouldn't give me a date/time when it would be correct.
I've previously warned about keeping a check on your balance. Mine has been out for days and it took me several attempts to rectify the situation. I've no idea if it would have corrected itself, maybe, maybe not as Kenny Dalgleish used to say a lot.

I've always kept my own records of my P2P investments. It was because I happened to be checking my records this morning that I noticed the discrepancy. Thought my record keeping might have missed a transaction so spent 20 mins checking my records against CP transactions. Was just about to bang off a detailed message to CP when I - rather belatedly - thought to check this forum. Edit: balance now looks correct

I thought the same regarding portfolio value not balancing with my spreadsheet but then when I checked, the auto value for Min**ead has been reduced from the initial notification, and now balances!!

Continuing errors concern me. I am a big fan of CP but they need to get their (software) act together. Only last week I cancelled a pledge - it initially showed as cancelled but then the money was "invested" - it was not a large amount so I did not point out the error but it was an error nevertheless.

If you're wondering why your portfolio value is wrong again then it's because Sound* Road has been marked as completed in the spreadsheet but there has been no repayment of c apital or interest and no email messages. It's pretty shocking how the system's discrete and disconnected parts require manual reconciliation, perfect for the introduction of inconsistent data.
On the other hand this late loan repayment is good news.

My portfolio total has been over a couple of hundred pounds light again for over 24 hours now. How can it possibly be acceptable that there is no way that lenders can know for sure exactly what their platform total is? CrowdProperty Representative , you've known about this for over 3 months now. Could you at least give us some idea of if/when you intend to fix this. Also, I don't suppose you would care to keep investors informed about the many other issues that have remained unaddressed for many months, even though you are definitely not understaffed.

...me too. I have tried on a couple of occasions to seek clarification and when issues might be resolved but no joy.

Yet again my portfolio value has dropped for no apparent reason. There is now a deficit of some £68 when compared to Wednesday morning with no obvious reason with nothing showing in the Transaction History.
How many times might this have occured previously and I not noticed ? email sent to CP !

I spotted the same earlier this week and emailed CP. I got the following reply on Tuesday.... "We are currently processing project repayments for Land at Greenfield Phase 1, and as the repayments are pending the amount is no longer showing in your portfolio balance, but hasn't returned to your account. It will be showing in your Available Balance shortly, with the transaction showing in your 'Transaction History'." So, they are aware of the problem and will probably sort it next week after the bank holiday break.

So, they are aware of the problem and will probably sort it next week after the bank holiday break. They've been aware of these issues for at least 6 months, and probably a lot longer. Unfortunately, they appear to be utterly disinterested in fixing them. I wasn't in phase 1 of this loan, but I was in phase 3. Out of interest, I decided to see if I could discover what the end date of this loan actually was from information provided on the platform. I found the following possibilities: - On the Dashboard: the loan end date in the Loan Portfolio completed list was 18/5/2022.
- On the Dashboard: the date of the final capital repayment transaction was 26/5/2022 for my manual pledge and 27/5/2022 for my auto pledge (which both agreed with the downloaded transaction list - they don't always).
- On the Pledge page: the loan end date in the Loan Information section was 4/4/2022.
- On the Pledge page: the final capital repayment was dated as 25/5/2022.
- On the Lender Factsheet: the loan is listed as being 10 months starting on 21/6/2021, implying and end date of 21/4/22, but the end date stated here is 18/5/2022 (which agrees with the first date in this list).
I get that there might be 2 different end dates; one for the expected end date, and one for the actual end date. I even get that the date that lenders are repaid might differ from the borrower's actual repayment date at times of excessive workload. I can't understand so many wildly different dates though. My best guess at understanding the above: The expected loan end date was 18/5/2022. The statement that the loan was forecast to last 10 months was a simple truncation of 10.9 months. Actual final capital repayments to lenders was spread over a couple of days (26th and 27th May). I hope that the borrower's actual repayment date was 25/5/2022 (shortly before lenders were repaid), but that would still leave the unexplained 4/4/2022 date! Another problem is that we know that there have been examples of incorrect dates being logged, so why trust any of the above? I give in.

Light at the end of the tunnel ??
"Hi Mark,
Thank you for getting in touch, and many apologies for the delay in response.
We are currently processing project repayments for the x Mxxxxx Rxxx project, and as the repayments are pending the amount is no longer showing in your portfolio balance, but hasn't returned to your account.
It will be showing in your Available Balance shortly, with the transaction showing in your 'Transaction History'.
Many apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused. We will be implementing changes to include pending repayments on user accounts, to avoid confusion and ensure your account balance is showing correctly. We do not currently have a timeframe for this, but we are working hard to ensure this will show on user accounts as soon as possible.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards, x
