I was sent a mail yesterday about a loan for a watch and a collection of gold and silver coins and bars. It said that there would be £100 limit for the first two hours. I was only able to log on at 12.45 only to find that all the allocations were full and that several of the last few investors had considerably more than £100 invested.
Were all of these renewals and there was nothing to offer today or did something else happen?

Im assuming its rollovers that you are seeing?? connectivelending is this the case?

Yes todays loan was a renewal and not surprisingly (given the asset) was pretty much filled on launch, does look like £100 was very briefly available.

Investors in a renewing loan have up to one hour before launch to decide whether to roll over. Obviously, until that time has passed it isn't possible to know how much of a loan is going to be available to new lenders. Just after 10 o'clock there was an update indicating that only £100 of Tranche A would be available and nothing at all in other tranches. At 11 o'clock a single investor managed to bag the £100. Other investor activity you can see relates to investors rolling over.

Maybe CL could send an email out 1 hour before the loan goes live with the latest status to save people logging in to read an update or to bid.

Thanks everyone for replying. I thought that was the case but a bit disappointing.

My fingers are not fast enough for this. I think this is the only loan I've missed on CL and was hoping to get a slice of it this time...

I had a build up of cash for a while waiting for new loans and requested a withdrawal yesterday and now received an email "I wish to inform you, as a regular investor on our platform, that we have a potential new loan launching tomorrow. To save you time from having to re-deposit money again, upon your authorisation, we can cancel the withdrawal, to save you time re-depositing funds tomorrow. If you wish to proceed with this, please let us know by simply replying to this email with 'Yes please hold'. Alternatively, if we do not hear from you, your withdrawal request will be complete as normal." - I think it is a good practice, indeed it saves hassle transferring money in and out, I've never had such notifications from any other platforms before.

Sounds like somebody is thinking. Makes sense for them probably save a few pence is fees. Makes sense for you saves hassle. Nice to see.

Lets see what happens this morning @ 1100, a new loan for £7k. It'll be gone in 60 seconds I expect, but we should all be able to get a nibble I hope.

Had to do it on my phone, took me about a minute to manage the process and Tranche C was already gone. Got what I wanted in Tranche B though.
