9th Feb, got a zopa email today saying isa transfer will be another 30 days, what a shower! they cause a -storm then don't have the staff to deal with it - PAH! You are better off waiting, I kicked up a fuss, they subsequently transferred out in 48 hours, and made an incorrect transfer in doing so, and the funds were promptly returned to them by Barclays! Here comes the official complaint about incompetence, and where exactly are my funds now??

A new bike woukd prob be a better investment than anything else out there right now. I had a ktm 660 years ago, kick start only, bugger to start but fun. Enjoy whatever you do. All the best.

Same poor experience. My new provider initially wrote to them in mid January, and after 2 chasers Zopa said I had to fill a form in for approval (which was already sent by the new provider). Its almost as if they like keeping the cash for the interest...

they did the same to me so I put in a complaint and it was sorted quite quickly, I was told another 30 days delay but it took about 10 days once the complaint went in. the email address I used is investorhelp@zopa.com . good luck!

It does seem Zopa need a prod to get action Coincidently after i phoned them i got a message stating transfer in progress. 48hrs later funds sent to new provider. As stated unless you ask, it seems they will keep your cash as long as poss for free.

I'm also having problems with Zopa. First they said they couldn't trace the transfer request, after contact Vanguard I told them it was emailed to them on 24 January. That is after them telling me they were endeavouring to complete transfer in 30 days. I then got an email from them asking for my Vanguard account no. I supplied that and they lost interest. I have emailed them since but they have stopped replying. Oh and if you phone them and you select the ISA option you get cut off. Their service is risible.

I too have had a request in just yesterday for a copy of the ISA transfer documents to be sent by my destination bank by email to investorhelp@zopa.com, because the written forms required, if they have been received, are held up in the digitisation process. Are we really to understand that our banks communicate transfer details, names, sums of money and account numbers etc. by email? When did we acquire such confidence in the inherent security of email that we trust it for bank transfers? Is what they are doing legal according to their data protection responsibilities?

Also been waiting for a transfer for 2 months! Official complaint now going in. Apparently, Zopa send in the details in batch loads, and the receiving organisations dont like that method as it creates administrative issue for them! Seems Zopa is being "lazy", and we are all having to wait ages for our own cash.

As I apply my tiny little brain to the problem the glaringly obvious solution smacks me straight on the nose.
All these stupid documentary exchanges and manual processes arise from the fact that a Zopa ISA while containing cash de facto, is not a regulated cash ISA for which there is an automated bank transfer process accessible online.
Once I describe the problem, everyone can see the solution which is that Zopa should have obtained the consent of the regulators to convert all its remaining Innovative Finance ISAs into Cash ISAs at one single stroke on 31st January. No one would have lost anything. Everyone would gain.

Zopa should have obtained the consent of the regulators to convert all its remaining Innovative Finance ISAs into Cash ISAs at one single stroke on 31st January. Or even transfer the Innovative Finance ISAs into newly created Zopa Cash ISAs, then they would be able to invoke the Cash ISA transfer scheme.

Still waiting for a sniff of any ISA money from ZOPA after 3 months. I complained, and after 'looking into it', ZOPA replied agreeing they have been slow, and, 'consider the matter closed'. I don't know on what basis they can claim that.
Has anyone taken a complaint further, eg the Ombudsman?
