I am currently in Mexico and notice that all my Assetz transactions have been offset by five hours, both online and in the downloaded Excel file. A purchase that was shown at 11:39 when I was in the UK is now shown as happening at 06:39, likewise for a transaction shown as occurring at 15:53 when I was in the UK, the same transaction is now shown as occurring at 10:53. I have noticed similar when I have been abroad before. My offline accounting needs the UK date and time, important both to prevent duplicate or missing transactions, and potentially for tax purposes at year end. - I can find no configuration option available on the Assetz Capital website.
- Using a VPN to route via London makes no difference.
- Setting my laptop to UK time makes no difference.
Any ideas?

Goodness me ! I had never noticed that before.
The "createdAt" field (column 2 of the csv) appears to contain the time plus GMT offset:
with my computer's timezone set to GMT+1 I see "2022-03-04 18:41:27 +01:00", whereas when the computer's timezone is GMT I see "2022-03-04 17:41:27 +00:00".
That should help. I suppose it works the same when we move to BST...

Setting my laptop to UK time makes no difference. I missed that remark in your post. Setting my computer to a different timezone (i.e. between UK and France) definitely does make a difference. Nevertheless I would expect that you should still see the GMT offset in the downloaded csv file.

So I need to be working with my laptop set to Mexican time and the UK timezone. How will that affect my e-mails and other system timestamps I wonder... Better than hacking together an excel macro I suppose. Edit: Both the time-zone and the time need to be set to UK.- The time zone needs to be set to UK otherwise the transaction time is shifted by the number of hours difference between the two time zones.
- The time needs to be set to UK time as this affects the transaction selection. With time set to Mexican (UK Time-5 hours )there were several of the more recent transactions missing, both on screen and in the downloaded Excel file.

Fairly easy really. - Turn OFF the automatic "Set Time" and "Set Time-zone" settings in my laptops date and time settings
- Set the time zone to London, the date and time will adjust automatically
- Log into Assetz Capital, carry out my daily processing and excel transaction downloads
- After completion, Turn ON the automatic "Set Time" and "Set Time-zone" in date and time settings
