A new loan has just been made available to QFirst members. Will be available to other in 3 days.
Projected net return: 10.13% per year XIRR: 19.73% Term: 36 months Target: £150,000 Min target: £100,000 Minimum investment: £10
Is good to see that they are now advertising the XIRR.
Also note that the minimum investment has reduced from £100 to £10.

XIRR - looks like Q have heard you £10 minimum is probably a good move to attract small investors who want to give it a go without too much risk. Rebs have £10 minimum and there quite a lot of under £100 investments in every loan (Rebs loans are usually in the area of £50k, sometimes less sometimes more, but rarely go over £100). We'll have to see how these changes will be effective for funding £150k loan.

What do you make of this borrower's financials?
Some of the figures, such as the gross profit, seem to be in a downward trajectory and are concerning?
Also, the Web site is blocked in all my web browsers, on both my desktop and iPad, with warning such as:
"Website blocked due to a Trojan
Your Malwarebytes Premium blocked this website because it may contain a Trojan.
We strongly recommend you do not continue."

The website is ok for me in firefox + avira antivirus. Doesn't appear to be external advertising on it but websites are easily compromised without the owner even knowing.
Not looked at financials yet.

This one seems to be filling up nicely, £97,300 already.

It's always difficult to draw conclusions from financials with such little commentary. I didn't see anything scary. Yes the GP dropped in 2021, but there could be all sorts of genuine reasons for that, especially during Covid. Who knows what special measures they needed to take? The turnover is increasing strongly, and Profit Before Tax even more so. I really don't have any skills in analysing financials beyond basic logic, so could easily be missing something. Would be interested to hear from any experts, but I doubt much can be gleaned from such scant information.
