An (amusing?) consequence of adding that loan back to my ISA acc is that it breaches my isa allowance for the year. Oh dear.

It won't ... it will count as previous year money as it's effectively a repair. You haven't signed an ISA declaration to add new money. Out of interest why did you move it and therefore lose the tax free status rather than transfer? Just to get the money out ASAP?

Oh dear. surely it will have been previous years ISA funds, so can't affect this year's allowance. Even if you'd mentally written it off, you're just reinstating part of a previous years allowance. You can't have written it off for tax purposes because it was in an ISA, so no issue there. EDIT: crossed with above post.

Hmmm... my "Available Funds" are now over 60% lower than they were before they took the website down! "Held Pending Issue: loan 8010286828" so that's the 1st Charge Barnoldswick loan. Where do you see this information? EDIT: Found it.

Has anyone calculated roughly how much would be removed from the Barnoldswick House payment if the investigation yields the "wrong" answer?
e.g. I had a grand waved in front of my nose before it was taken away again. What are the likely possibilities for me and by extension for everyone else ?

I'm sooo confused. What feels like ages ago now, we were told that a "solution" was found to release at least some money back to investors and that funds would appear as "available" soon. Then the FS platform went down for weeks to "fix something" unspecified. Now the platform is finally up again and a paltry sum (compared to funds invested) is shown as available for withdrawal (in my case, just 7% of the outstanding investment amount). But try to withdraw it and ... "Withdrawals are unavailable at this time - they will be enabled once the current series of loan repayments have been made".
In summary, after years of recovery effort, only 7% of my invested amount has been returned. But I can't withdraw that money!
And YES, my "Current investments value" ALSO dropped by >20%. Yet the amount available for withdrawal represents only a third of the money deducted from my "Current Investment value".
What on earth is going on ... when will they allow us the withdraw the trifling sums they are finally returning to us?
The crooks that run FS might be scumbags and liars, but they were amateurs compared to the Administrators we ended up with!

AIUI a further challenge was raised to a distribution which appears to have required the admins to do further work on the platform in order to hold back those funds in addition to those relating to the QT issue. Based on the recent email withdrawals should be available on Friday Current investments has dropped because the balance of many of the loans where funds have been made available to withdraw has been written off as irrecoverable

Thank you very much for the info. I'm not going to hold my breath for Friday ... I'm almost certain some new excuse will emerge! I hope to be proved wrong.

It's Friday! The day promised for releasing a tiny portion of our own money back to us. And, surprise surprise, "Withdrawals are unavailable at this time". Does anyone have a clue as to what the latest excuse is?

Perhaps "Further issues come to light", that are too complex to communicate as we wouldn`t understand in any case.
