how stupi do they think we are - if there are problems with certain loans then simply block their release There is no need to freeze the platform - of course this could be spin rubbish and they have yet to get the platform working... I need a drink How would you know? Youve no idea what they are trying to do or how the platform tech works. Id rather they take it off line than try & do it live and screw the whole thing up requiring a longer delay "how stupid do they think we are?" Well, we invested in Peer to Peer platforms that turned out to be scams. We put our faith in the Financial Conduct Authority to regulate these scams, despite the FCA being funded by the very same scams. I can`t speak for anyone else but in my case, without doubt, extremely stupid I would say.

I had never thought of that.
The scammers paid the FCA to endorse the scam.
Oh dear god.

I had never thought of that. The scammers paid the FCA to endorse the scam. Oh dear god. This is as I have said before don't expect the supposed "police men" to p*ss on their friends. After all is said and done they are all pals together and particularly so when it comes to job seeking. There is very little deference in the finance world to what happens with the press which of course is now responsible for policing itself and that is the way they want it to stay even after an effectively a huge, expensive public enquiry that said otherwise. So much moan and bellyache but there is not currently any reliable mechanism that will get us justice never mind all our money back.

"Withdrawal Delay Unfortunately, the platform will need to be frozen in order to finalise the details of some further loan repayments."In other words ............We are still keeping your money - Kerching!!!!!! What are our options regarding formal Complaints about the IP and about how the whole FS fiasco has been "handled"? We know only too well that the FCA are a chocolate teapot so that rules those useless Fwits out. Well, everyone knows what the IPA (ip.complaints@insolvency.gov.uk), the self Regulatory body, would do - they'll paint them Whiter than the White. I don't think Intelligence Services (intelligence.services@insolvency.gov.uk) take up the case in case the Company has already gone into Admin.

Well, given how long the website has been down, on balance I'd say the "issue" is probably more than an IT glitch

totally agree - this web site seemed to be a list of spreadsheets and it is not rocket science to keeps details of loans and effect payments - it is not the SWIFT system!
I worked in IT for over 20 years and wrote commercial systems and yes at times I had to manually overide them in order to release funds etc for people that had sold at auction etc

According to a post on FB, this issue is so important and urgent that many of the staff dealing with this are on holiday.

They're waiting to hear back from the judge to see if he has changed his mind. The judge is also on holiday for the next 3 weeks.

Really? Changed his mind about what? Seriously? Like one of paul merton's highly improbable satirical answers on HIGNFY which actually turns out to be very close to the truth and he goes NO.
The court gave their approval so only the protagonist(s) and antagonist(s) know the real reason!

Saw an old epidose of HIGNFY a coupe of weeks ago, when Boris was PM and the party gate allegations were in full swing. When asked if Boris should resign as PM Merton said yes, but the only problem is that if he does we will end up with a halfwit like Liz Truss in number 10.

I suspect, they are going thro' all the past Loans where the 5% (EXPENSE CONTRIBUTION !) was NOT Charged and trying to claw them back . For those where they already charged the 5% prior to the Judgement, instead of the Refund, they are trying to adjust this against the Expense Contrib. In doing so, they probably messed it all up !

nice thinking MAH and sounds good to me
I did say there was no reason why this could not originally have been done with a working system (and I ignored the negative comment I got for this)
I wonder how much of the truth regarding severall dodgy loans will actually be revealed e.g. 2 speedboats, art scam etc
I need a drink...
