Hmm, when I pointed this out earlier, some people said that their (ex-directors, not only FS, but MT) expertise was needed for the Benefit of the Admins and the Lenders :-(

That is outrageous!! Then again if the record keeping is as bad as suspected, the only way to contact some of these borrowers would be through NH. I fail to see why he couldn’t spend 2 weeks writing it all up, and then leave… :-( Now I know who is laughing all the way to the bank

If this was "just" a case of him and his buddy running it badly such that it went belly up which is the normal case in bankrupcies I'd be slightly more forgiving. But among dozens of other dodgy loans, he took a grand of my money on false pretences to buy his wife/girlfriend/mate a house in Reading. This crime among others. I h8 the b****rd.

You are dead right about other dodgy loans the big question is what percentage of the loans were dodgy from the off? I am aware that there was something exceedingly suspect with the Powerboat loans and I got a good whiff of bad eggs when I spoke to one of the then owners of the boats shortly after depositing a five figure some on them. He suggested that V***** would "never" repay and even possibly never had any intention of repaying unless big money arrived from a major motor manufacturer in the form of sponsorship. There must have been other loans with a similar dodgy background. Maybe the Admins know this and that is why they are employing ex-directors who may know where all the "dead bodies" are hidden.

I have said it many times before, if two or more people don't end up on Serious Fraud Charges, and pretty soon, they'll hear me screaming back in Oz.
Hopefully, my fellow Burnt Lenders out there will also become rather piqued.........

Mousey I find the statement of Hackett incredible if he was talking in generalisations about all loans. I know for a fact that he was in direct contact with at least some borrowers and particularly the Boaty ones, so either he lied to the court or has a very short term memory.

This is blatant perjury. He 100% had direct contact with borrowers - they were spotted in the office so how on earth could that happen without direct contact?

Totally agree about Hackett
Have spent a great deal of time about what actually went on here - numerous theories and many headaches - surely something very serious
I have checked the background of Jo** P**kles; he is linked to numerous loans which I thought were nothing to do with the Clar**n loans (yes others were)
this is really bugging me do so I wonder just how profound and widespread this "problematic" behaviour was.
Also as I said before I wonder if some lender worked out what was going on and tried to manipulate it to his advantage
I bet there is even more to come out there...
Looks to me as if Hackett is still on the payroll - iMHO he should be inside
