Cute. Email received @ just gone 18:00 advertising new loans available for investment. Pr******* T*** and another tranche of someone in the Midlands. On the AC website the former is showing as 'Investment Paused' with a note for the reason posted around 16:00. So not quite as available as intended :-)

Hmm ... of the 14 loans supposedly available, 5 of those presumably had so little available as to be pointless mentioning on an email circular. That leaves 9, or does it ? Once the multiple tranches are consolidated there are actually just 4 borrowers with loan units available (2 x wind, midlands trade, and the handbags) which I think is the lowest its been for many months.
A pointless email, bordering on spam.

Well January is over and as yet no sign (whatever AC say) of any real pick-up in deal flow. I wonder how much the need to spend a lot of time dealing with AC's collection of non-performing loans is affecting their activities to bring in new business?

Happy to confirm that I'm not spending all my time dealing with errant existing borrowers and that I have looked at quite a few new propositions over the last few weeks.

And just to reiterate what David just said we have a huge pipeline of new loans coming through for underwriting in February and many of these also want to draw down this month meaning the borrower's solicitor is going to be under pressure from them to get the paperwork moving quickly too. These drawdowns mean you should be seeing substantial growth in aftermarket loans to purchase also from this month on.

I hope if happens quickly stuartassetzcapital as my spare money from redemptions will be moving away soon. W/T's and the GEIA simply do not fit in with my strategy. Maybe I will pick up a few pennies in the AM from the upcoming loans being promised for drawdown early this month but I suspect the queue for these is fairly long - so it may be the old fashioned farthing here and there.
