Mse suggests fixing. I'm with octopus on standard tariff using about 2000kw a year. May go up as I might drop use of log burner. Is it really worth fixing?
Only 6% less than the april cap figure. I'm an inveterate switcher for everything except bank account and main mobile number but I'm not bothering just now. July cap is predicted to fall again.

Is it really worth fixing? well even with the drop in price cap, I'm expecting the tracker tariff to remain cheaper, even if the gap closes somewhat. And if the capped tariff drop is at least partly forward looking/predictive, then the gap may not close by much over the period.

Mogish if you are planning to space heat using electricity your consumption is not going to go up by a bit unless you live in a shoe box or heat to 10'c. Keep the log burner .

Problem is sourcing (free) wood these days.for years I had a source via a landscape Gardner. That's dried up. Tbh am not fit enough to go dragging logs out of forests etc. A 1t bag up here is around £120.... prob cheaper using our oil central heating mostly used just now for hot water.

IMHO might be worth fixing in July. for anyone looking at Gas tracker this winter since 1/11 to date tracker including the standing charge has been 35% cheaper than loyal or fixed

I have never actually managed to get a free coffee yet as my wife seems to think she is more entitled than me, They obviously work fairly easily as she just uses a screenshot i forward to her.

I haven't received any notification. I just got a sign up email at 4,40pm. Not much use to me tomorrow I will be busy getting lost in a giant Maze. Does sound like there will be more, will have to locate my timer plugs in anticipation.

Why does the sign up page want to log you into google drive? I don't have a gmail account and it is defaulting to my partners which is not registered on the octopus account!
