Yesterday, I was driving inside a tunnel. There was a guy riding an illegal e-bike inside the tunnel. His speed was about 17 Mph inside the tunnel where the speed limit is 30Mph. When he go out the tunnel, then he accelerated to 25 Mph where speed limit is 50Mph.
Today, there was an elderly riding mobility scooter on the payment, with two big dogs in chains.

Saturday afternoon I was coming out of Cardiff on dual carriageway I was in the outside lane, suddenly I saw an electric bike coming towards me, rider with his food delivery "box" and busy reading his phone !

Was in Edinburgh a week ago, just eat couriers everywhere, no lights, in and out of traffic, definitely not restricted to 15mph therfore legally a moped. Doubtful they had mot insurance etc.

Even the legal rental Lime bike, supposedly limited below 15mph, when riding downhill, above 20mph when riders pushing hard.

Even the legal rental Lime bike, supposedly limited below 15mph, when riding downhill, above 20mph when riders pushing hard. It's not a legal cap on maximum speed. It's a legal cap on the maximum speed at which there will be electrical assistance to pedalling.
