Anyone have any ideas about mysterious loan 10982, I can't work out if it has closed or not?? It early-closed along with 11003 around 10am today. 11003 started up again soon after (Grrrrr), but 10982 seems to be in some sort of limbo?

Strange, it does show every sign of being closed except it doesn't say "Ended" in my watchlist. Fingers crossed it has really closed...

This is still showing in Summary/My Bids and in My Watchlist with the Time Left ticking down. But it is no longer showing in Loan Requests. In the loan details, Repayments has a complete schedule of repayments except that the Status of each is 'pre-agreement'. Auctions that are still open usually have no repayments listed at all. I don't how all this compares with other early closers or restarters.

Yes, 11051 is exhibiting standard early-closing behavior. 10982 is still a mystery though. I hope the borrowers aren't sat there wondering why the rate isn't going down.

11149 seems to have just closed with max rate 14.9% but My Watchlist and My Bids still show the clock ticking.
Edit: Of course, My Bids used to show the clock still ticking for early closers anyway. The loan no longer shows in the marketplace.
Edit: 21:50 25/2/15 Now shows as Ended; has been accepted and is on the SM.

Showing as a live loan for me now. A bit uneasy with that one, are they happy to now take 14.6% when they already have a similar sized loan at 8.5%? should count themselves lucky: if they were on AC and were heading for extension (or extension to extension) they'd be on 15 or 18%

So perhaps the explanation for what's happening with 10982 is that closing an auction and stopping the clock are two different processes; that the former can be done by the borrower (which we knew); and that the latter has to be done by Fumbling Closers (who might overlook it.)

10982: loan rejected FC: Borrower has decided not to take funds at this time. Thanks, FC.

10982: loan rejected FC: Borrower has decided not to take funds at this time. Thanks, FC. Or more likely, they decided not to take the funds 6 days ago. But either they didn't tell FC, or they did but the loan didn't get taken down then.

11244 is another example of the in-limbo loan, is it closed or isn't it? Who knows. Not available for bidding on but still has the timer ticking down in 'my bids', and not visible on the loan requests page.

I'd call that 'closed'. That timer has a mind of its own. I've been telling FC for a couple of years now that it would be nice if the various pages (watchlist, my bids, auction list, etc) could agree on how to display a loan, especially a closed or ended one.

11342 is a third example (of which I am aware) of a loan which has stopped accepting bids but still appears in 'My bids' with the timer ticking down. The previous two eventually disappeared without taking up the loan and simply served to tie my money up for a couple of weeks earning 0% interest. I appreciate that the rates on current FC loans are pretty poor from a lender perspective, but I am fairly confident I could do better than 0% elsewhere.
Edit: Poor old B*z**** has something like 20K in it tied up for a couple of weeks earning 0%, you've got to feel sorry for the poor chap.

But that's a drop in the ocean for him, and there is always a faint chance they'll accept it and he can flip the lot at 3% for a £600 profit (plus interest, minus FC fee). Losing 2 weeks interest is an acceptable risk - being stuck with £20k when they fail to make the first payment is a bit more scary!
I wouldn't have minded a few quid in it (not £20k though), but I was looking elsewhere at the time. 8>.
There continues to be b&gger-all else open for bids at interesting rates, or with interesting cashbacks, or even very interesting businesses .. maybe I'll go buy some AC shares instead. 8>.

Wondering what I've missed - what RB was 11342 and what was the closing max rate?
