I'm with jackpease on this - no e-mail, a 5 figure investment (not including the ones to the right of the decimal point ), and a "select your term" button that doesn't include an 18 month term. Wondering what I did to offend them!

Looking at comments I am narrowing my guesses about W.&Co selective offer: existing 5-figure(?) investments on a longer-term 5-year(?) basis as a reward to investors' commitment to, and trust in, the company.

Well it's looking like this is a targeted offer - at those that haven't got much in Wellesley. "Dear Wellesley. It usually ends in tears if firms do offers or promotions that exclude their loyal customers. You'll turn us into rate tarts!" Jack P

I have plenty in 4 and 5 year. I'm half way to six figures in the monthly market, none on the longer terms, still haven't had the email from them but can invest in the offer. Has anyone tried contacting them or do they ever respond here? A random selective offer is no way to keep all of your investors happy, well the savvy ones that participate in this forum anyway!

....at those that haven't got much in Wellesley....
...but have put in enough in the last few months to suggest they might have a lot more available now that the platform is becoming established and trusted?

Wellesley do occasionally respond on the forum but IIRC they are not as active as they were in the early days. Certainly the rates offered have eased off somewhat but no doubt looking at their home page regarding committed funds, their TV advertising has been successful. Platforms IMO are generally between a rock and a hard place. Whilst the activity on the forum may seem fairly high, nonetheless it is a tiny minority of active investors that participate and maybe a few more that just pop in for a quick lurk from time to time. As P2P lending is higher risk that's an aspect I've never really understood as you cannot underestimate overestimate the information that other contributors unearth and post that I myself have missed. Something about knowledge being power - forget who wrote that.

This looks about right, my investment with W is spread across 1 year, 3 year , 5 year, and now (!) 18 month loans.

Well it's looking like this is a targeted offer - at those that haven't got much in Wellesley. Well, I’ve got a 4 figure sum with Wellesley and haven’t had an email. Having said that, my current investment level is part of my strategy to avoid over exposure to property so however attractive this offer may sound I’m not interested or at least until some of my 18 month contracts mature. Besides which, rates on property loans on platforms with secondary markets are a better bet in my book.

Thanks grumps, I asked nicely and they allowed me to join in, which I have and it's showing on the dashboard so great.
(I had just 4 figs in 18month term, then held off until they got the loan allocation system working, which credit due they did, then held off because rates were less competitive. So to my mind I was an obvious target, but anyway)
