Did anyone notice the question posted on loan 11571? It read "Q. 17 Mar 2015 09:14 - Why you have no monies? " Looks like Fluffy Curtains have removed the question now. It got me wondering how much emphasis investors put on the Q&As. I usually have at least a brief skim over them but I don't think I've ever asked a borrower a question.

They're full of armchair investors taking themselves far too seriously and pouring scorn on usually honest businessmen/women. Hence I sometimes post stupid questions to lighten the mood...
Much better to read than "waa waa waa if you dont answer my questions its going to cost you 7p more interest a month; bla bla bla DO YOU REALISE WE LEND YOU THE MONIES waa waa waa" etc etc

I find it interesting to briefly assess the literacy level of the applicants and how effectively they address the questions, dumb or otherwise. It occasionally helps to distinguish between an applicant who is just desparate for money and one who has a well-formulated plan for using the loan.

The majority of the questions I have asked over the years have been more due to poor information from Finger Cuts. With property loans links to the online planning applications are never supplied for example. For any development loan I would certainly always wish to inspect the deposited plans. The only other questions I have asked have been when I have seen a weakness in the company which I have wished to explore and bring to the attention of other investors. Questions about credit scores are often interesting to read. With the reduced information in the business profile sometimes the questions are the only way meaningful information about the company.
