Just had a nice chat with Tim, one of the directors, and I'm sure he won't mind me sharing this info. Any errors are mine alone.
1. Website security. A withdrawal request bank detail is automatically checked against last request detail. If identical, it is automatically authorised. If different, SS have access to a verification system which holds details of all UK bank accounts. If there is a sufficient match between the account holder and the details SS hold, the request may be automatically authorised. [First withdrawals naturally go through this process] If a discrepancy, it goes to manual oversight.
2. Nominee structure. In the process of being addressed. Was hoping for it to occur in the next 4 weeks, but that will probably slip, but expected to be no later than 2 months.
3. Email problems. Will be investigated if it can be resolved with Plusnet. Alternative workarounds will be looked at too.

Well, here's another one for their email problems. Three boats slipped away tonight, and not an email in sight. My emails are nowt to do with PlusNet.

Mine arrived at 6:20 too, I'd sold out, but was due interest. They could have done the descent thing and held off for a couple of weeks. Dear Investor,
Loans 67,68 & 69 have now been repaid.
We have credited all investors their capital plus accrued interest.
Thank you for investing in Saving Stream.
Kind regards,
The Saving Stream Team

I had loan parts in all three! Mine arrived (and for clarity, yes, I had parts in all three). Ditto. Suspect you would have got same email whether holding 1, 2 or 3 of the loans. Gmail via plusnet ISP

Nice to see that I am the only one who gets a 'personalised' message.

I received an e-mail at 6:20PM addressed, Dear Investor. I guess only those who owned loan parts got an e-mail. I had parts of two of the three, and received no emails. My main email comes via Plusnet, and it works for most things, but not parts offered for sale or sold, or for newsletters. I've given SS another non-Plusnet email address to use for newsletters, and those seem to get through, but there was nothing to that address regarding these redeemed loans.

Looks like it's just an isolated few then, but while mikes1531 is a known PlusNet fault, my emails are absolutely nothing to do with PlusNet. Having previously had an exemplary record, I have been experiencing sporadic email problems with savingstream since January, mainly affecting loan part purchase, withdrawal confirmation, and repayment notification emails. I hope they are looking into a fix for all their email issues.

I have over £6k sitting in my account, and didn't know until I read this thread. Obviously no e-mail (although I do generally receive them,I think!). Come on savingstream, this isn't good enough.

... my emails are absolutely nothing to do with PlusNet. My emails go via Plusnet only because they bought out my email provider. Plusnet could have gobbled up other providers without users knowing, since to look at my provider's website, they appear to still exist and are carrying on as before. The only obvious clue is that they're not trying to complete, so their posted prices are out of line with current offerings by others. I understand the Plusnet are now owned by BT, so perhaps the problem is BT-related, and therefore could affect any number of smaller providers that BT now own. For all I know, every provider could be part of a single behemoth organisation, and the 'competition' is just a figment of my imagination!

Well I'm with Sky and they definitely compete with BT. I always receive buy/sell confirmation e-mails and the weekly updates,so I don't know what happened here.
