Yep, 9926.
10563 has also waved farewell this month, but shows signs of the guarantors not shirking - cross 'em - whilst last month had 6670 and 6625 curling their toes up.
Then there's our old friends 6552 and 6521, and the perennial favourite clinging-on-and-sliding-ever-backwards 7170, which doesn't _quite_ qualify for a downgrade despite having been late constantly since last Nosoddingvember and currently being 109 days late...
I s'pose three defaults and three downgrades isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, but four in a month and a half is galling.

Lucky LC. A month ago they were a 'me too'. Now their model looks more like a USP. It's the ship I'm jumping on. With FC I've begun to dread looking at the comments on Thursday evenings. The defaults have eaten into my earnings big time this month. The depressing RBR notifications are coming thick and fast and the recoveries seem to me to have slumped dramatically. Has anyone else noticed this? I know it's the honeymoon period for Lending Crowd, but the signs are good so far. Their communication is excellent and they're keen to take on board suggestions for improvements. The financials of the loans are far more detailed than FC too. On Tuesday evening I reached my target investment of £1000 and on Wednesday I had an email saying the £100 incentive had been credited to my account. I remember with FC having to wait for months and then chase them a couple of times for the 'refer a friend' bonus I'd earned. I wish them well.

I will also reach the £1,000 mark today and qualify for the £100 - a straight extra 10%. Any disappointed refugees, take heart, I think there will be a further offer for the Winter. How do we go about getting a board for LC? Is there a way of applying to the moderators or does it have to come from LC themselves? By the way Happy Birthday LC. One year old this week

Oh, and you think the Fumbling Clauses web site does (after 4+ years)? I've started a thread over on the LC board for people to report such minor (and more major) hiccups, which hopefully LC will pick up on and fix (there are several, but none fatal afaict).

Following a rather long round of dumping all my FC live loans I have at last achieved my goal. Now I am left with a few bits of what is best described as shrapnel and a rather large collection of late running and defaulted loans which I cannot sell. I must admit I feel a lot happier now even though I guess I will have to kiss goodbye to the bulk of the defaulters. Overall I have made a small but respectable profit out of my nearly four years of dealing with FC but no where near what I hade hoped to achieve when I first started out. The cause is without doubt the high level of defaulters and the poor level of recoveries particularly in the early days. My impression is that things have improved on the recoveries front since FC took the task inside rather than off loading to an outside debt collector but of course it may be I got lucky. Who Knows!
