Think that should be Lending Crowd. Well posting LC related posts on the LC board rather than the FC board would help the metrics. P.S. Since when have the moderators being getting an 'Annual Consideration' and how much is it ? Sounds like uncletone has been squirreling it all away and spending it on Havannas. Annual consideration? I thought the moderators shared the cost of the site in consideration of the status, privileges and power over others that the position bestowed on them (the five stars for example).

There are many perks, but admin keep them all: the corner office;the company Merc;the expense account with Krispy Kreme, I could go on... .

Like many others have invested in LC (though not got the cash back yet despite meeting the requirements). One of the criticisms of FK is lack of new loans. Might be worth pointing out that currently 3 live loans with one just closed.

It would be appropriate if the (itinerant) representative of Lending Crowd was named Elsie.

Thank you, Flaky Computations - I have spent the last three weeks listing about 3000 parts (the downside of preferring £20 bids). Had to set a different premium for each one, or so it felt, and sometimes hundreds of parts were missing from the Sell Individually pages which was typical of the Flimsy Circus. But thank you for the opportunities to game the auctions. No thank you for cancelling out any gains from such gaming by delivering defaulters every Thursday.
Thank you for making me look elsewhere - I found SS that seems to offer 12% with little work, less risk (all loans secured on property, usually as first charge). This Ship Jumper has bought into 30 loans on SS, max £1500/loan, in under four weeks.

Hello again, I have just bought some the fixed rate offerings available this morning. The money I transferred in last week has arrived and I am ready to give FC another go. The rates aren't great, but hopefully the effort will be much lower from now on. I'll give it a go for up to 3 months and then re-assess.
I struggle to be diversified as I don't like many of the newer platforms. I might consider SS when they become a P2P platform, possibly soon.

Bye bye FC. I will not use autobid as it will invest in loans I don't want to fund and as I am in a full time job most are filled when I first see them. Also the %'s no longer work for me. I can get slightly lower interest rates at RS but with the PF or much higher rates at AC, SS, FS etc. with asset security. Your website is too much hard work. I'm now in wind down mode with you.

Good news for any late ship jumpers thinking of trying Lending Crowd.
They have extended the Summer offer of £100 for the first £1000 lent, due to finish 30th. September, until end November.
The timing of the announcement, today, could not be better.
Well done LC for listening and responding. I don't think I ever saw that comment on any FC forum.

You can actually get £150 on your first £1000 if you're referred as well.

I've started dabbling with LC and other than deal flow, it looks promising.
I'd be interested in how people think the risk bands align with FC - without estimated default rates, I'm struggling to decide if the rates are good, bad or indifferent.
Are there any known criteria used by either, or is it a just relative thing?
thanks
