If any of you you have any more questions you'd like answers to, I'll make sure to check here again tomorrow morning before setting off for the panel show.

Whilst all platforms have their normal disclaimers about not being responsible if the lender should loose money, etc, etc this is generally considered to be an FCA requirement and rightly so. In many cases the P2P platform are listing individual loans and therefore it would be reasonable to assume that as they are 'promoting' the borrower by virtue of it;'s existence on their website, then they have a duty of care towards potential lenders irrespective as to their disclaimer notices.
Of late their does appear to be a 'dash for growth' and it is becoming apparent that a more cavalier attitude is being taken by the odd platform here and there. So my question would be:-
What background checks and to what degree do the P2P platforms undertake before permitting a loan to be listed

Hi all
I'm very sorry, but I didn't get to ask any of your questions. It was my first time chairing a panel show so I was quite surprised how thick and fast the questions came from the audience for the full hour. I felt bad about saying to them "You've come all this way, but now I'm going to ask other people's questions instead."
But I'll try to get answers to all your questions over the next few weeks. I've copied all the questions down and I'll ask them whenever I'm in contact these P2P lending platforms.
