Looks like lots of loans due to pay back imminently. Are we about to go from feast to famine again?

It will only take a couple of repayments to tip the scales though and then we'll be back to fighting over the crumbs. I think nearly a million is due back in interest payments alone in just 1 week.

I agree with ilmoro , SS need to start showing a more meaningful depiction of 'term' (or else separately show how much interest is in the gas tank at any time). Much as I love the SS platform, there is a certain fuzziness around "term", and also (in some cases) 'LTV' (where 'V' has been defined a bit more loosely than 'current 90-day sale value'). A loan showing -56 day remaining term just raises a whole bunch of questions, which I am sure savingstream have better things to do than keep answering. Well I hope they do. I'm prepared to cut quite a bit of slack for a newish platform and even newer website, but others (including the FCA) may be pickier, which would not be good. I'm not sure my accountant or HMRC will also be so lenient. I guess if the loan passed its deadline it's in default (for ltd company accounting purposes)?

The information provided in the updates, particularly that relating to when the loan is to be paid back, has always been meaningless on this platform. Expect to get your money back when it happens and take no notice of what the update states. I think some investors often panic when pay back dates are missed time after time and they discover that many of their loan parts are way overdue and so they dispose of them on the SM. Not easily done at the moment.

Not easily done at the moment. Could not agree more, i never take much notice of the loan end dates, as rarely is a loan payed back on time due to various hold ups of one type or another, i used to sell my loan parts when they got to 30 days left ,and then play fastest finger wins to try and pick up long dated stuff on the SM, but do not bother now, over the last month or so there has been plenty to choose from on the SM, not sure if will last though. while writing this my E-Mail pinged and i got this nice message from my friendly bank. We are writing to give you advance notice that on 25 May 2016, we will be reducing the interest rate payable on your Virgin Easy Access E-Saver (Issue 1) account from 1.01% Gross† P.A/AER‡ to 0.75% Gross† P.A/AER‡. We appreciate you saving with us and never take your custom for granted. We aim to always offer you good value in a market that has seen considerable falls in savings rates for customers in recent years and where savings rates continue to fall. Not once have they contacted me since i emptied the account 3 months ago and sunk it in SS, MT AND FS.

How could you not value their politeness. It's a virtue and doesn't count in pennies.

Is anyone aware of when PBL 22 Bedford is being repaid? It would be nice to reinvest into PBL 90.
