Nothing annoyance is where notes are added they are put on end of list. So, for example, Fr****y Surf****g had note added 29/1/14 but I have to page down past older ones first to see it. Need to be sorted in descending date order. Yes they need to notify lenders when note added or better still flag it on My Loans list (or do it like FC comments but I prefer a flag)

Thank you all for the feedback. batchoy, You are right, I can see how there is perceived inconsistency in messaging. The priority has been to proactively and quickly deal with the issue at this end in order to achieve best possible outcome for investors. This being our first ‘bad un’, we are clearly learning lessons along the way in terms of achieving the right balance in keeping investors informed. In an ideal world, the loan details would be updated simultaneously with the email. However, adding a short note to the loan details tab to keep people informed of steps along the way is a quick and accessible update for those that are keen to have information quickly. Whereas we have assumed that investors would prefer a more informative email and I have therefore resisted sending an email out at each step, but instead waited to hear back from the team (ours and the legal) of the next steps so that I could write and provide a little more detail. I was trying to avoid subjecting investors to a deluge of emails at each step along the way but I do appreciate that mrclondon and englebert69 raise valid points on the limitations of relying on the loan details updates. The suggestion to provide a flag is a good one, although a more complex solution (in programming terms), but I am told that we can provide auto email notifications much quicker as a temporary solution. I have now put this request to the IT team and they will provide this feature asap. Likewise, the suggestion to reverse the order of the updates to ‘most recent top’ is a good one – I’ll see what I can do!

To receive the updates, you will need to ensure that your communications preferences are set to allow them, so it might be worth logging in to your account and checking. Thank you for the suggestion and I hope that helps. We're still working on the reverse date order of updates, so I'm afraid that for the time being you will still need to scroll down through the list.

Hi! Got one this morning, thank you. Must say the first reaction was, "oh! no !!" but this one was not bad news!

oldgrumpy, Hi! Glad you received it and it's all working ok. Like you, I was happy that the maiden email wasn't bearing any bad news Re: the request for reverse order updates, I can report that this will be forthcoming very soon. Unfortunately, it will require a bit of human intervention rather than programming, so you may see some done and some not for a few days (depending on when you log in and which loans get processed first etc), as we work through them. Please bear with us whilst we carry out the changes.
