Just a quick word of thanks to the original independent board for giving us that vehicle and another one to Andrew Holgate for stepping in so quickly to fill the void caused by the sudden switch off by its new owners.
I hope you Andrew and other p2p representatives will get a lot of good feedback and information from here once the old guard finds its way over here and a new guard also joins in.
Sanctuary indeed without Big Brother!!

hear hear, hopefully this forum will accommodate both the needs of investors and platform developers alike. Thanks to Andrew for committing some resources to the forum and getting it off the ground. Looks all new and shiny.

It really is a breath of fresh air to witness someone seeing what needs to be done and making it happen in considerably less than 24 hours. A big vote of thanks to Andrew for the initiative and the Assetz techie team who have no doubt assisted in getting the site live so quick.

Fair play to Andrew, he set the whole thing up pretty much by himself without input from us techies. I think he only pretends not to be a computer geek.

It would be help if there were some way of advertising this forum to former members of the FC Independent forum but I guess all the contact details have been sold to FC along with the website.

I found this site through a pointer posted on Zopa's Forum. I've also mentioned it on Money Saving Expert, if people just drop the URL about the place on other financial-related sites they use, I'm sure word will spread, despite FC's removal of "promotion for an external website" from their own forum. Also: A thanks to Andrew at Assetz for the virtual lifeboat!
