14259 is on the secondary market with offered rates between 11.7 and 13.6%. Optimism?

Maybe, maybe not; It's down to how it's perceived. If there are a zillion parts for sale, must be a reason for that - it's nasty, just a handful left means everyone else wants to buy it! Grab it quick before it's gone!!!

Optimism, greed, a brain-damaged sell-bot, finger trouble .. must be lots of possible reasons for listing one at those rates. Now whether there are any reasons for someone to actually buy one at those rates ..

Grab it quick before it's gone!!! One of yours then? A zillion parts can just mean its a very crowded trade and so an intended strategy collapses to one of getting out of the bulk of a position early. A handful does not necessarily mean everyone wants to buy it. The art of selling is about creating the appearance/illusion of scarcity.

Now whether there are any reasons for someone to actually buy one at those rates .. That's the key, I think. Are there ANY 'must have' E risk band loans? Small loan size, better than average visible financial strength for the risk band, shorter loan duration is about it in terms of guidance - not much to generate a high degree of confidence. Perhaps best to treat them as a commodity class. I have been able to pick up quite a few at a discount at rates even >19% to provide an extra cushion but I don't think they are necessarily keepers on the basis of the % rates.

Taking my posts with a pinch of salt is highly advisable. (apart from this one ) Or in your case should it be a pinch of pepper?
