"The Company has no ability to independently determine the creditworthiness of a potential borrower or discretion to reject a Credit Asset randomly allocated to it (if it is within the scope of the Investment Policy and any Portfolio Limits, and there is sufficient Available Cash)." This shouldn't explain it because the fund has £150m to invest. Where did the rejects come in the sequence? Do we know the lender on the rejects? It has been suggested the tech team were just practising? Perhaps the fund wasn't ready at first. We shouldn't see any more rejects... No we don't know the identity of rejects. It is possible that the money wasn't in the right company, or these loans were somehow outside the investment policy, or a test. I guess we'll see in the next few days.

The Cs, Ds, etc. were attractive and small and got filled.
The A+s are not (although some are small .. you can see how (un)enthused manual bidders are about the new generation of fixed rate A+s, can't you!! A £26k A+ (a real A+ I mean) used to fill, albeit at a too-high rate, in less than an hour).

The way things are going, we'll need a 'C-Alert' thread on this forum!

A good time to slip in that 6% A+ £85k. 58% gone in an hour, and now a two day pause before another bunch of lucky Autobid punters are allowed a part. I'm sure it's better for them than an 8% secured property loan.

As the signs are that they will be in strong demand when they do.

* drops a pin* * whistles nonchalantly* * watches tumbleweed roll past the loan request page* Each time a new unattractive loan request comes up, I find it therapeutic to examine carefully the associated default image. I think it an takes about half an hour to be sure that each pixel has settled into its final hue.

You know things are bad when even a weak 'A' of £42,120 (18962) has 20% snapped up by S****59

My guess is that s***59 does not look further than the loan requests page, but has a time-efficient bidding strategy based on the statistics of the loans in general. Not far from my practice in buying short 8% property loans with 2% cash back in the good old days - remember them? I never bothered much with what it was for.

Today my "Gross Yield" figure has finally risen far enough to match my "Annualised Return" figure for the first time ever (both 15.3%, assuming Faulty Calculator's dashboard is working properly at the moment). I can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. It certainly highlights FC's revised role in my portfolio, having replaced ReBS as my "Russian Roulette" high yield / high risk platform. With almost all my CB property parts now gone and most of my high rate / early closer SME parts sold at 3%, my current loan book is mainly Ds and Es (plus a few smaller Cs). Of course, my total stake in Formerly Competitive is down by about 75% as a result. I wonder if that bothers them at all? The email questionnaire the other day is the first sign I've seen that the exodus of manual bidders may be causing any problems for them.
