Has MT gone into hibernation?
The occasional postcard would be welcome...

Cor! Joan Regan? She used to live near me. Her son Rusty went to my primary school (briefly) but being younger than me I didn't realise who he was .... or Joan Regan really (I was only nine). Mmm! If MT have nothing to offer today I will withdraw waiting cash. As usual, the last batch of loans came up when I was away!!!!!!! So expect plenty of loans in the second part of September when I (probably) will be able to do naff all about it. PS. Ed has been very helpful when we have been able to arrange things, but that needs an announcement before I float off (yes I did say and mean FLOAT, not a euphemism). Where's that banana? www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZTMvHcl100

Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't remember them!
Didnt she sing something like "Lay down your arms"?

I don't know how I remember this but I'm sure that on her very first appearance in a variety show, she was actually knocked unconscious by the safety curtain.
I understand she went down very well.

Afternoon,
My apologies for the radio silence. I have been in London since Wednesday and returning this afternoon. I admit that I usually notify everyone when I go away in case anyone wanted to meet up but on this trip I have not had any gaps in my schedule.
Met up again with the new 'pending partner' and went through the latest draft agreements clause by clause and I am pleased that we are now 95% there with only a couple of minor changes sent to the lawyers ready for sign off. Shouldn't be too long now.....(he says).
I am sorry there has been a bit of lull of late but I am optimistic this will be remedied shortly with some of the bigger deals to make up for lost time.
I have also been approached by another lender (not pawnbroking this time), who already have a sizeable loan book but no P2P fundraising front-end. They have the opposite problem whereby they have more demand from borrowers than they are able to satisfy. This is still in early discussions and will update you as things progress.
Kind regards,
Ed

Thanks I did a quick google on her discography but couldn't see it, I should have searched on Title too!
Not same song as Joan's, now i wonder what Cyril Fletcher was in?

I remember Ann Shelton's big hit "Lay down your arms ..." when I was at primary school - just after Rusty Regan's brief time there (they moved to Chislehurst).

PS. Ed has been very helpful when we have been able to arrange things, but that needs an announcement before I float off (yes I did say and mean FLOAT, not a euphemism). So it's you that has the SuperYacht from the other platform (SS)
