Tomorrow will be very interesting ....... Not only will we see how the DFLs get received (in the current state of confusion / uncertainty) but the investor appetite will be tested with the biggest daily offerings total yet - over £13M at current PF figs. Short notice again too - less time to juggle funds.
FAR more complicated than that treeman The two DFLs will only be partly released (we think, maybe )
PBL50 is to "roll" into one of those DFLs (not sure what this means.....)
Also is PBL4 (A and/or B) set to be repaid, as part of the new DFL (we think, maybe)
WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU savingstream ........ Fully agree with all the points you make - the PF list does add up to >£13M and we have no FACTS to work with as to how much of this total funding will actually be on offer or how these DFLs will work at all. The email made no mention of rollovers or pay-backs other than the boat. Really do need some steer from SS. No idea what I'll settle on later this evening as PF............

Sorry, but have I missed something. Have we got a self confessed cheater commenting on these boards....... I do appoligise but I wasn't cheating the system..... I was heavey fingred in trying to buy on the SM and bought to much of one loan. I didn't relise until the next day and sold the laon as soon as i noticed. I had interest on my account from this investment, but I didn't get it (only got .26p) Did you onl yget 0.26p? or did you actually get 26p (£0.26) ? by my reckoning the 26p is closer to what you should have got for two days on £100?

Just a final (?) word on the distribution of bids/bidders .. here is a graph showing the size / number of all the live loan parts out there (at some point yesterday) .. log/log scale. As predicted, it is straight-line-ish, with the expected 'upticks' at popular round numbers (£500, £1000, £5k, £10k etc) .. with BH's tailing off at ~£200k. Of course this is just =parts=, no telling if someone is sitting on a dozen £1k parts (someone is certainly sitting on rather more than 1 of each). Obviously the sub-£1m auction generate only sub £1k parts, at least initially. Also noticed that £1.5m of loan 182/PBL084 was back on the market within 5 days, so I guess the game players over-achieved big time there, and real demand was really only about £3m, which is still pretty impressive. I certainly admit to asking for more than I wanted, and subsequently selling some, since there is no way of getting close elsewise.

£690 maximium 3600k remained put on to SM I suspect Ah thanks, I wasn't in for that much - I'd like to know more about rental value before committing further.

Investor : With respect to the info on Page 1 for PBL093... IIRC, SS said they were going to release only £2.59M of this loan as the first tranche, with the rest to be released later. (The info is in the first post of the PBL093 thread.) In light of that, the 59.2% allocation factor would mean the total pre-funding was £4.375M.

Investor: You might consider amending the Loan to PBL093T1 (meaning Tranche 1), the Valuation to £3.7M, and the Loan Value to £2.59M. Otherwise, someone seeing the table without benefit of the related discussion will have difficulty understanding how the numbers fit together. An alternative approach would be to put the relevant info into a footnote. I don't like that approach, though, because the direction SS is heading -- particularly with DFLs -- will produce a lot of footnotes over time. If loans are going to be issued in tranches then it's probably appropriate to have a separate entry for each tranche in the table at the top of this thread. This might provide an opportunity to expand the table to include DFLs, though this would work only if SS are willing to let us know the size of initial and subsequent tranches as they did with PBL093. I don't know why they might want to keep that info to themselves, but they haven't been the most transparent at some times. Still, when it comes to subsequent tranches, surely they have to let us know how much already has been advanced to a borrower before asking us to advance more, don't they? If anyone has other suggestions regarding how best to handle this going forward, do please contribute to the discussion.

I noticed a change in the pre-funding mechanism. It looks like the pre-fund setting level will not apply automatically to newly added pipeline loans anymore. The newly added PBL in Horsham was showing pre-fund 0 though my pre-funding level was set to 2k.

The DURHAM PBL also appeared today, but still set the pre-funding to the main pre-fund allocation.

Still, I should know to check and adequately update more frequently the pre-funding page.

Any reason why my prefunding has stopped working. The amount remains in the drop down tab but does not refresh the amount when you return to the pipeline page. Any ideas please.
Edit: Does it not allow prefund whilst you are in debit. I have only just made two small purchases on SM and are unable to prefund tomorrows loans.
