46 pages - nothing. The thread 'That website again' on the FC board was stopped at 29 pages and restarted as 'That website again, again' which has now reached 27 pages. So 56 pages really. No links because I do not suggest you read it (and I have not learned such links).

I can still switch the feature off... cap has just been raised to £1.5m which should have helped shuffle everyone along a bit. If you gave everyone free money, people on here would complain. Two most welcome changes today (£1.5m and visible queue). Thank you. I agree. You can't please some of the people any of the time. There are two very positive changes that I really do appreciate. And as the QAA limit increases with time the proportion of funds earning nothing because they're still in the queue should shrink, meaning everyone's money will be earning more of the time. That ought to make everyone happy, including AC.

Looks like Q checker has conked out. Maybe chris is having a fiddle with it.

Just worked for me, and I've advanced 5 places since last time (to 2190) Keep watching Im emptying my GBBA into MLIA ready for this weeks drawdowns so even my modest sum might free up a bit of space in the QAA given that many positions appear to be little amounts. Might take a while as for some reason GBBA keeps forgetting the withdrawl instruction before its complete and I have to poke it.

The increase in the cap has allowed about 75% of my queuing money into QAA.
Still got a bit in the queue, including 1p at £96k (would it not be better to round up to a tenner before going in the queue?)

Maybe we'll do something like that if system performance ever dictates it but there's no technical reason yet.

My share of a £230k repayment from Dorset (#120) arrived at 2322 yesterday. Where did all that money go? Yesterday, there was about £500k queued waiting to get into the QAA, and that doesn't seem to have changed noticeably today. Did nearly all that Dorset money go into accounts that aren't using the sweep facility? Did most of it exit the platform?

Can also be heavily restricted by the cap if it was HNWs holding large chunks. I've just checked the last year and every single month more retail money has been deposited than withdrawn, so it's not an exodus of cash from the platform.

But are you defining 'retail' the way andrewholgate does? He referred to MLIA investors as Sophisticated rather than Retail. The Dorset loan was drawn down a year ago, so all the £710k would have been held initially by what AH refers to as Sophisticated investors. I do take your point, though -- if a lot of the Dorset money went back to people who already have £25k in the QAA then none of that could have lengthened the QAA queue.

I defined them as every user who isn't an underwriter. Underwriters often move larger sums in and out of the site depending on current requirements which would skew the figures.

I defined them as every user who isn't an underwriter. sigh. I was just starting to enjoy thinking of myself as Sophisticated. Bubble burst. Relegated back to the plain water on the bedside table again tonight.

I was officially downgraded by the FCA to unsophisticated having previously been (FSA) sophisticated. But I am sophisticated now because I have two unlisted investments (one from a Seedrs type platform, and one bought off some guy hanging around on another forum).
