With the debacle over 198 - Cash account versus MLIA versus QAA & Swept versus Direct transfer to QAA which simple souls like me didn't (and still don't) understand.
AC has generously bought me <£0.01 of 198 - Great. I don't wan't a silly amount.
I try to sell it, and the computer say NO - you haven't got any units! (One part of AC says you have units, another part says you don't).
So I am trying to buy some units just so I can sell them - Great system this - maintains AC's apparent determination to KICK (Keep It Complex Kid) their customer's instead of KISS them!
SO. What is the minimum number of units I must hold before the system will let me sell them?
Alternatively is there a way to sell a tiny number of units?

This post by chris, concerning a pending change allowing us to specify a max holding in a loan, should resolve this issue. I think!

You should also be able to put in a sell order for an amount greater than your holdings (e.g. 1p in this instance) unless someone else made a change without me knowing. If that's not the case I can get that changed on Monday.
If you want simple stick your money in one of the investment accounts and leave the system to run things for you. The MLIA is the more complex option for those who want more control and more features. We'll be adding more investment accounts over the coming weeks and months to provide a wider range of hands off investment opportunities.

It wouldn't let me put any quantity, the error message popped up first. Also the pop-up doesn't tell me the exact size just <0.01.

It's a key part of being able to have more than one buy / sell order (coming soon) to be able to have a sale order for more than the amount you currently hold.

With <0.01 holdings you cannot place a sell order. The popup comes first and smacks your wrist From your answer, I understand that once the fix is in place, there will be no minimum sell size

...I understand that once the fix is in place, there will be no minimum sell size In another post I think Chris said that you would offer to sell an amount slightly larger, but it would sell the fraction for you.

Were you able to get the change put in so that we can sell £>0.01 without the system claiming that we can't sell as we haven't got any units despite the system telling us that we have >£0.01 units

It should be deployed today. Thanks Chris - It works fine now. Still doesn't work for loan 136 Es**x but that had a monitoring event so I guess that is still waiting to be fixed - chris any chance this will get some priority, please?
